Aren't they going head to head with F/G at the first GP? That won't be good I was hoping for them to compete programmes before then

Yup - FearGib, GuigFab and FBCiz are all starting their GP campaign at GPdF. Hard to see the rationale for GuigFab not doing a dry run with their programs at a Challenger like Nepela, but that's the choice they've made. They're not on the entry list for that, Nebelhorn or Denis Ten, and I can't imagine they'll be going to Trialeti as that's the week before GPdF. Maybe they're planning on going to Trophee Metropole Nice CDA, which isn't a Challenger this year, but it is the same weekend as Denis Ten and a whole lot closer to home.

Anyone wanna try to make some predictions for the qualifier next week after looking at the scores from Lombardia, besides R/A and H/C? Very underwhelming scores for I/S and P/T. Along with Y/M recent low scores, it’s looking better for V/K (unless they were crazy overscored) and perhaps the Swedes

Hard to say. Manni/Roethlisberger are the only team that competed at the Int'l Ice Dance Dordrecht comp last month that is also at Lombardia and none of the teams that competed at Bolero Cup or Kinoshita Group Cup last weekend are competing at Lombardia. ManRoe scored 64.80 at Dordrecht in the RD and 65.02 at Lombardia today. The tech panel wasn't very generous with their levels on the pattern step & midline step sequence in Dordrecht compared to Lombardia (they both had L4 twizzles & a L4 lift in both competitions).

So, they gained about 1 point in BV between the two competitions but they lost about the same amount on GOE.

It feels like Val/Kazimov are in a good position to earn Spain a second spot. Impossible to say what Reitan/Majorov's chances are since they haven't competed anywhere yet this season.

Scores are low bruh. Were they that bad at Lombardi? Almost scared to go watch, BUT, since I really like Lag/Caf I'll assume the top 3 were fairly decent.

Edit: I correct myself, they are awful. FB/C, have a chance yeah.

FBCiz have a chance at what? France's Oly spots are locked in at 2 and they can't earn a 3rd.

Lombardia's field doesn't have any World Top 10 teams and the scores for the Mrazeks seem on par with their SB in the RD from last season, while PateBye have scored incrementally higher than last season.
