I guess people who go on the show do it more to get famous. They are young, beautiful and not always smart.

Well, I think the house has been "cleaned out."

Matt got Anna Redman to talk about incorrectly verbally exposing another contestant for supposedly being an escort, and Anna talked and talked until she realized that she had been the wrong one and knew she needed to leave.

Then he tried to talk some sense into Victoria Larson for being a bully. He left her standing alone when there was no sense forthcoming, and she bullied him too at the end for "listening to hearsay" and he left her without speaking at all. Enough said.

Should be a much more fun show now. Not sure how many women are left.

I'm this far now in the season and yet I'm not feeling anything from the ladies. Katie is someone I'd definitely hang out with, but romantically not sure if she's the one for Matt. I really hate it when past contestants show up, "yoo-hoo Chris! It's me!". Especially now with everyone q'ing for their safety.

Well Matt's season has turned into a big ole mess on and off the show. Rachel Lindsay is right, the show has serious, serious problems and until changes are made at the top, contestants with a questionable past like Rachael will get cast. Be interesting to see if Chris is replaced fully. My guess is he'll keep a producer role but won't appear on camera anymore.

On happier a note, now that Dale has ditched Clare he has been welcomed into the brotherhood of Clayshia season's guys as he's spending the long holiday weekend down in Florida with Ed and Bennett. Bennett also has a NYC bromance group going with Dr. Joe, Riley and Brendan. Bromances are my favorite thing about this show now.

While the show has problems I am also a little concerned about what i am seeing in general. Please do not get me wrong I do think racism is a deal breaker and not something I will put with in a partner... (And I walk the walk here)

But what about people who have changed and grown? I mean I think we have all had attitudes and problems that need to be worked on. I worry about a society with no grace and forgiveness. As in should we have forever someone for atttirudes they had when they we’re 18 even if attitudes not there.

AFTR won't be live--it films this upcoming Monday with a air date of March 15th so that will hopefully make things easier. I'm sure Matt is thrilled for his season to be finally ending.

To cleanse myself from all the unhappiness around Matt's season, I've stumbled upon Bachelorette New Zealand and that's been really easy to watch with lots of great travels around New Zealand. The Bachelorette is nice and the guys are fun. Looking forward to the ending Monday and for their version of the Bachelor which starts on Tuesday for more New Zealand travels.

Right after the pictures broke on Reddit of Rachael K attending a KA fraternity "Old South" party in 2018, in an antebellum dress, Chris Harrison went on Rachel Lindsey's EXTRA TV show to defend Rachael. He blasted all kinds of nonsense, like "woke police" and rightfully it didn't go over well. He then released a statement that he was "stepping aside from his hosting duties" (Women Tell All was already filmed) but some are now saying he has been fired.

Rachel Lindsey was blamed by hardcore Chris Harrison fans and she was labeled as someone going after Chris' job, etc. The nasty posts got so bad she had to delete her instagram. Even Rachael has had to tell her "fans" to back off and leave Rachel Lindsay alone but its too late.

Anyway, some are now saying they won't film Bachelor in Paradise if Chris is the host and with the Bachelorette slated to film in New Mexico is a few weeks, ABC has a big decision to make on who the permanent replacement will be. Emmanuel could do the Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise filming but his NFL hosting job would preclude him from the Bachelor filming in the fall so I guess we'll see what happens.

I just finished watching Bachlorette New Zealand and what a difference than this season of the Bachelor. All the guys were lovely, the Bachelorette, Lexie was wonderful and she and her final 1 are still together 4 months later (was filmed in October/November). Only thing that was the same is the editors hid her connection with the final 1 which always happens, no matter the country. So off to fire up the VPN and start watching Bachelor New Zealand which just recently started as I have free time now that I've given up on Matt's season.

There were definite suspicions of the possibility of him being gay. There’s a particular Billy Eichner interview with Colton floating around where he “jokingly” suggests Colton could be the first gay Bachelor and it’s sort of an awkward moment for Colton.

Colton has shown some truly disgusting behavior over the past year and that shouldn’t be forgotten but I’m glad that he’s at a place where he feels comfortable coming out and can hopefully get the help he needs.

It sounds like Colton wanted to do the show because societal homophobia pushed him into the closet and kept him there. Ridicule from others throughout his life made him want to be anything other than who he truly was. So he was trying to do what those who ridiculed him thought he "should" be. He wanted to be "straight" aka "normal". He wanted to be accepted.

What do you mean? The allegations of Cassie Randolph, who filed a restraining order against Underwood, which she later dropped?

Colton harassed, stalked, and placed a tracking device on Cassie’s car according to her original filing. The details, texts, etc. are all there in the files that were released. She dropped the charges and moved on with her life to avoid dragging things out in court, plus it was reported there’s a private agreement in place that he’s not allowed direct contact with her. I wouldn’t make light of her situation just because she decided to drop her court charges against Colton.
