These announcers are going to be the death of me. They're so pro-Ohio State it's not even funny. "They're (the Ducks) gonna need a big play here..." After the OSU QB makes a bad pass on 1st down and gets sacked at the line of scrimmage on 2nd down. Okay, then, we'll just sack him BEHIND the line of scrimmage on 3rd down.

My God... These announcers are sooooooooooo openly pro-Ohio State. I'm appalled. They're actually laughing as they claim they're not biased at all.

I switched over from ESPN2's lousy announcers to ESPN - they're more professional and not celebrating every time Ohio State scores. This game is a disaster for my Ducks.

I'm surprised ESPN lets Kirk Herbstreit do OSU games. Totally biased. I thought last night's announcers were biased for Boise State, and I didn't have a horse in that race.

Now it's my turn to have a glitchy watching experience. Hulu (how I access ESPN) is working fine on my laptop but NOT the new-ish TV. We watch Hulu on this TV every day, no problem. But it's frozen up 5 times in the first half :(

ESPN2 was terrible -they were laughing at people. I didn’t realize I was on the wrong channel but I eventually noted the sign for the traditional broadcast. Sorry about your Ducks. I was stunned by the first half.

I can't believe ESPN has such biased announcers on any of their networks.

I'm bummed for the Ducks - on the other hand, it does allow me to fully check out of college football for the remainder of the playoffs, lol.

Well, I will wear my obnoxious "THE" quite happily tonight! :D I am extremely proud of my Buckeyes for coming out in both of their playoff games and giving 125% as a team and getting those huge wins over very good teams. The Bucks could have rolled over after their last regular season game, er, disaster, and come out disappointed and played flat, but they turned everything around in the playoffs. They started playing up to their strengths (passing the ball to their awesome WRs), they got bolder in some of their offensive play calls, and the defense has been pretty rock solid overall. I hoped the team that showed up in the playoffs wouldn't be the same one that had that late season disaster, so I am thrilled and super proud of them for playing so well. On to the next game! :cheer:

BTW-It would be good to remember that every single college football team out there has traditions that other team's fans think are annoying and/or stupid....that's just a fact of life for a college football fan, LOL

Pretty sure there are more people the world than you guys so I don't take anything personally here. I just support my teams and live in a bubble during the rare times my sports teams actually get big wins (I don't see a lot of those as a Cincy sports fan....). :D

They looked strong. I stopped watching because the score was lopsided. I wonder if this is the team to take it all.

Quite honestly - use of THE Ohio State is more related to NFL football players and how they emphasize it so much in the introductions. Yesterday was more irritating because of the commentators gushing, and shouting. I don't usually mind Kirk H - but he should never be allowed to commentative Ohio State games.

After the previous game - Texas and Arizona State - it was well boring. But it was either that or minute by minute terrorist attack - which my HS classmate was doing via FB.

I'm sure the Sugar Bowl today won't be about the game. I watch football for a reprieve from news.

I’m so used to seeing Alabama or Georgia or Clemson winning championships that a Notre Dame vs Ohio State looks new and refreshing.

I shall be going to bed at a reasonable hour on Jan 20th, after the Inauguration festivities wind down, because I'll need to be awake and well-rested early enough the next morning for US Nats!

My resentment of the B1G ripping apart the Pac 12 compels me to cheer for Notre Dame.

After years of “Hook ‘em Horns” when Texas was Big 12 it is nice knowing that ended tonight. Also the two schools in the championship have great tradition with their marching bands. This should be fun.
