Just throwing this out there, but does a clean Leonova make the Euros alternates team? Obviously Zag, Med, and Tuk are all ahead of her regardless, but Sotskova/Tsurkaya/Radionova/Panenkova are all really struggling. She'd probably be battling it out with Sakhanovich, Samodurova, Nugumanova, etc for those alternate spots, right? Everyone else is junior. #optimismreigns

Who knows? We've no idea what shape Pogo is in, and much as it pains me to admit, Kostantinova is in there as well. The RusFed has no sympathy for body of work, so if she skates lights out at nationals, maybe. I hope she uses NHK to focus on nationals.

And I know that you guys are far from been a fan of her , but I hope that she delivers in Helsinki this week..
She is inconsistent af, has problems with posture and shoulders and etc, but when she delivers - she is one of the best in terms of SS and overall impression.
I would have never become a fan (or would have started actually enjoying her skating) before I saw two beautiful LP from her first at Junior Nationals in 2017 and after then at Senior Nationals this year.
This is probably the only time when am not ashamed of going against the tide

It looked to me like Blommaert was having some shoulder problems at SA, the lifts and twist were giving him trouble (Believe me, I know a bad shoulder when I see one). It's a shame because I really loved their FS this year (I actually even like them skating to Woodkid better than Nathan Chen skating to Woodkid!!!). Hope he comes back so we can see the program full force at Euros or something, but I rode the Stolbova/Klimov fan train long enough to know that shoulder injuries don't just go away quickly

You shouldn't worry about Guliakova. The Russian federation hasn't rewarded her at all despite her strong showings in the Russian Cup and high SB score from last season. If they won't send her anywhere better than Senior C Warsaw Cup, they're not sending her to Euros.

Overall - Pair s 2018/19
S/K - Ouch, I like them but that had charisma of 0,01% Cohen Malaguena??‍
B/M - They surprised me last season, but this was just and felt FS long.
R/K - Again this SP? How many seasons more? Where is here charisma of last season? 27PCS seems actually generous for that Or am I just a moody bitch today? I better open the wine now.
S/B - Pairs suck so much this season. No words. Oh America.
P/K - Empress should have never ditched that SP 2014, never, such olympic material The fight for 3rd russian pairs spot is on of my highlights this year. I like them, they need more polish though, still a kinda sloppy overall look.
Z/K - This is so vanilla I don't want to be rude, but the thought of Z/K winning a GP medals sounds kinda for me.
DM/G - Not that this is any news, but Matteo is so Do-do-do-Hard! Very cautious and conservative. Hope this gets burning hot by the end of the season?
Z/E - Oh I love that bad-ass look for her And Enbert, sorry faint-hearted's, is so damn ****able I like that it's different and I (and I guess @levineismine too ) wanted siome music like this for the dancers, not sure about that choice for them though

Panenkova - I love the going 'all in' with combo as last jump element Couldn't stand her last season, this year I really have a soft spot for her! But I guess we all know, she won't be submitted to GP next season And where the hell is Tsareva, Shelepen or Adoniev? Who is this minion?
Peltonen - This was really good for her. But to be honest, the messy landings somehow distract my overall opinion of this, sorry ??‍
Wang - A classic Wang One day, one day!

Hongo - Bless her soul!
Shiraiwa - I start to believe the JPN ladies did smoke one evening together and just decided on random bizarre music for the others ?
Hendrickx - I think she is really in for euros pewter this season. Her PCS inflation is a bit too much for me this season

Sakamoto - One of my fav short programs of the season.
