In other news I haven't seen Smirnov doing watercolour in a while, but it turns out on his IG-story that Eremenko is drawing too. Those two! I'll come to their first vernissage for sure.
 
The Russians were robbed indeed and should have been 3rd. They were the most interesting of top 4 teams. Just give James/Cipres a world title and send them on their way. Tired of the jumpsuits. Tired of the exact same program with different music three years in a row.
 
Romsky, Poster Boy, and Cave In all showed why they are on the Team. And the first two don't look like they'll be leaving any time in the foreseeable future. :shuffle:

Brown-couldn't care less really. The evil me is happy he's keeping his FS, just because I enjoy seeing major parts of FSU explode:p

Aymoz-wuzrobbed!!!!:mitchell: Our team is proud. Just love him. Zimmerman for the world. But our Kevin seems to be looking for the nearest station to get off the train and onto the podium at Euros! (Watch me cry when it happens!)

Romsky- angsty wannabe but nowhere near angsty enough for his music. Go on kid, heart on sleeve, we want to despair out there with you.

Tomono - his passion for Riversdance is everything!!!?But I agree with someone who wrote the program is choreographed backwards. #rika4ever

Majorov - I can't with his sloppy body lines and that attempt on a spiral into 3a:yikes: the sequins thing on his tie otoh, complete with Cuban Pete. I'm dying. I have to love it a little.

Shoma - *watch me gush over Beethoven* soooo good, until the final elements. Blah. But at least he destroyed Mr. Canadian versatile. *watch me gush over Shoma* His 3a3f is badass, even with he stumble.

The guy who's hat is even more annoying than Carl's in TWD - sorry, I just can't. I'm now being polite, I will stop there. Judges on crack for PCS.

  • Dasa in position to medal! 3t2t, 3f, 1a. Slay!
  • Kitty and Solovyeva didn't skate, but were on the starting order? :huh:
  • Lots of invalid elements in the top 6 :slinkaway
  • Leccardi in 17th place! :eek: I need to see Marilu's reaction! :angryfire
  • The stream was bad quality today with no audio, so I didn't watch. Even I have my limits. :) Hoping we have audio tomorrow.

Tuk has been skating well all season, and yet da bossman would turf Březina (who has one European medal, not gold) out after one good competition. :huh:

D/F - US definitely needs Zhang/Hochstein ??‍♂️
R/W - This could have been great, skated by Dubé/Davison 2008 ?
A/W - Poor uns Cabeza ? For the actual skating: still a big No!
W/M - If the CAN pairs would only have 1% of Meagan’s balls!

Panenkova - seriously? She looked so uninterested, why was she there? And Lara Fabian or not, that was zzzzzzz

Matsuda- Kulovana content. Program lasted for three hours. Zzzzzzzz

Chartrand- good for her kind of being back, but her program too is zzzzzzzzz

Other Canadian - as if the comp wasn't zzzzzz already, this was especially zzzzzzzzz.

Janny - program is not all that, but she totally bitched her way through every second of it. Respect girl!

Tursy - another tango. I guess she's improved or something but I still found it zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. WHAT'S WITH THESE LADIES???

Andrews - how can such a tiny girl skate so heavy and laboured? Constantly bending over, bad flow...and I'm actually a fan. Take a master class from the Japanese ASAP!

Bell - love both her programs this year. Lovely arms. Flowy and free.

Wakaba - GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THE CHOREOGRAPHER, YOU'VE BEEN SCAMMED! (Or bought the cat in the sack, as we say in Norway:p) (and that comes from the girl who luuuurves Vivaldi!)

Lip sync LaTuk - Queen won, without totally convincing me.

Yamashita - does it get any smoother or any easier? Watch that all you Russian juniors muscleing out your jumps. This girl will keep hers.

D/F: SBS jumps be damned, this was lovely. But it screams “EVERYONE WANTS TO BE SAVCHENKO” imo

R/W: Nice program, nice dress, not bad.

A/W: Love Scent of a Woman programs, but there was no chemistry between them so it fell flat for me. Her dress is perfect though.

W/M: This was nice but WHERE ARE THE SEXY COSTUMES??? WE WERE ROBBED!

B/K: This was stunning! They didn’t put a foot wrong. I wish Tarasova/Morozov skated classic programs like this. But Efimova is still my fave.

MT/M: Good job! The program is decent, the jumps worked, but most of all I love her makeup ?

P/J: The SP was killer, the FS is okay but it’s not memorable for me.

J/C - I actually liked this program; it’s not quite as exciting as Sound of Silence but it’s still solid and the choreo is spot on. I admit I’m also not a fan of Morgan’s attitude/personality (I still haven’t forgiven him for that 2016 Skate America where Vanessa was crying and he was too busy in his own pity party to care). I watch this team for Vanessa and Vanessa only. And good Lord, do NOT suggest the Thong Song for them! This is not going to help shrink Morgan’s ego!

Chartrand - ONE STEP AT A TIME, ONE CLEANISH SKATE THEN ANOTHER! Keep going girl! Beautiful music btw
Medvedeva - okay so the program isn’t all too exciting for me, but I love how easy the jumps looked. Good for you, sister!
Andrews - this jungle program REALLY does not work for me. Bring back her Beyoncé program!!!
Bell - SLAYYYYYY! I like both her programs this year. The FS really reminds me of Ashley Wagner’s Exogenesis (especially the dress)
Tursy - cute as pie, but the program is not too exciting for me, blame Danill
Liza - HALLELUJAH, THERE IS A GOD
Wakaba - I love her no matter what
Yamashita - sorry, I’m just not a fan of all the Japanese girls doing Madam Butterfly. For me the only butterfly program I accept is Mao’s. I just find the music such a bore. Beautiful skater though.
