From what I hear, she left her coach because she started to bet on Kovtun and not Radio and there was no trust between them. Doesn't matter, Goncharenko retired after Kovtun left her in April. And when Goncharenko announced she was tired and was taking a break, she said she didn't believe Radio would even make it to Beijing but Kovtun would/could. I would find that interview but I'm too lazy.

But she is going full-time to a school that I hear is really hard to combine with a competitive skating career. It is, what it is. It's a super competitive school to get into so not one she can miss a lot of classes (she mentioned this in an interview). I'm not expecting much from her.

Romsky - As much as I like him, this was totally uninspired and elements-focused Nontheless, #missionworlds is on! Pants have either a weird fit or his thighs are massive. Carrot party, ouch
Aymoz - DG is an evil genius, as Aymoz is now landing a ****ing carrot quad! I am no fan of the SP, nice choreo moments though!
Kerry - His IG interaction with his bff is way more entertaining than his actual skating (and the one of his bff)
Cha - Skating to Cinderella Kudos to that balls! Kick-ass Miki-memorial-3lz3lo But just not my cup of tea
Posterboy - WhiteWolf was fed someone listend to @Laney 's advice! This is such a good vehicle for Danny. I am totally in love with it. Sold the hell outta these steps, I wished, the program would still be 3:17min Posterboy deluxe (Costume has to go though!)
Majorov - He is a good boy so I just remain silent.
Tomono - This was just absolutely beautiful! Got teary-eyed as Radio's music came up, where was @Hanna 's shoulder to cry on? Scores?!

SC Pairs SP impressions

Walsh & Michaud - Well compared to last week it was a million times better but they sacrificed so much speed.
Rues & Wolfe - pretty but forgettable. This is pairs not ladies guys!
Boikova & Kozlovskii - that 3S was wild. Loved the attack but They kinda ran out of power in the end. 3rd RUS spot still up for grabs.
Denney & Frazier - yikes.. so out of shape. They didnt even bother with decent costumes.
MT & Marinaro - OH canada and your local overscoring. Michael has really bulked up and improved though.
Peng & JIn - really cool mid tempo program . I adore how they are always on charachter. Shoulve been way higher than the locals.
Aussies - Generic program but they are interacting more with each other at least.
James & Cipres - one of my fave songs ever but not sure it works well on the ice, specially with those costumes. Felt really flat, they only got intense in the last seconds.

Best Dressed - Without program context I would say James but gotta go with MT&M .
Do-Hard Award - Peng & Jin. He's soo yummy and she reminds me of Dan Zhang with that haircut.

SC Men SP Impressions:

Overall it seemed we were going to witness a fantastic event until the last 3 skaters . And very generous UR calling.

Sadovsky - Who told you you could rip off Joshua's Farris style kid?? And the skating was a poor man's Abbott with pukey face and annoying older man screaming from the stands included.
Aymoz - Oh Yes!!!! This petite boy is on a mission to leave TTW team sooner than later. Awesome steps.
Kerry- Short hair does not favour him. It was OK but intense music is not his forte. Also LOL at Amodio stealing the camera in the K&C
Cha - Excellent music choice and choreo. He gives me a lot of young Yuna vibes. Magnificat!
Samohin - Is his costume an allegory for the black wolf eating the white wolf? Not sure about the serious style when he's all about flamboyance but if it means skating semi clean ok then.
Majorov - This is a cool program but he lacks the flow to pull it off.
Tomono - Beautiful 4S . Lovely soft skating with lots of projection.
Nguyen - I think the quad should have been called. Too corny for my taste
Messing - Now that you are undoubtedly CAN #1 can you Get out of your comfort zone please!!!
Brown - Is he trying to be the new Rippon? I should feel bad for him but I find "everything but jumps" skaters just as overated as the "jumps and nothing else" skaters.
Uno - Why oh why that purple monstruosity? He looks like a skinny eggplant. This could be great late in the season but today was a mess and incredibly wuzgifted.
Samarin - I can see why @Jeschke finds him hot (basic russian boy) but he's even worse than Kovtun in the charisma department. A shame cause the program is nice.
