Whereas the Instastory was from about an hour before the show's start time of 7:00 pm
Members and their families have tons of places to go that are much more comfortable than waiting in the Performance Center. Given it’s only 2,500 seats, there’s no reason to sit earlier than you have to.

Hmmm, so USFS hasn't completely abandoned streaming. But it sounds like this is a one-time broadcast, no archiving.

To be fair: USFS social media promotion of Sizzler streaming has been on Instagram, Instastory, X/Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok -- enlisting the likes of fan favorites Jason, Ilia, and Alysa (among others). Individual skaters also reposted.
Plus for me, the streaming showed up in my YouTube feed.
And Debbie S referred above to receiving an e-mail.

My theory would be that previously available Sizzler fancam videos of many of the performances caused an overall decrease in appetite to view official streaming of the full show??

Anyway, I am thankful to USFS for streaming all the up-and-comers as well as bigger names. :)

Watching it now. I wanted to like it, but the lighting is so bad. My first time seeing Morozov and Chen -- The look unbalanced to me. She needs a larger partner.

Why is Somerville alone? And why did he not leave any pointy poses for anyone else?

I loved the show, which sounds good on my iPhone. LOVED Carreira/ Ponomarenko’s number - the beat! Also loved Jason Brown, Amber Glenn, and Efimova/Mitofanov’s style to the music. I already saw Ilia and Chock/Bates’ programs skated in Leesburg…good but familiar.

Oy. My takes:

Singles: I didn't have to love their music, but it was really nice to see invested, musical skating by Glenn and Cain. Liu skated through her music, both sections, and I thought she looked sluggish, only finding the pulse in the Biellmann. It was a good choice for Ma to skate to Flamenco with the strong beat, Naumov was charming, and I really liked Malinin's program and even understood almost all of the lyrics, which almost never happens, so that confirmed to me that Levito's music is as awful as it sounded, and it wasn't the sound system. Brown looks like he's in great shape, and if he's going to skate to Tarzan, I'm glad it's in this SP form.

Efimova and Mitrofanov had lots of energy, and the mistakes didn't faze them. I'm sorry that Bratti was injured; Sommerville did well in a solo performance. Pate skates like she's in a Disney show, regardless of the music; Bye does not, and in the best way.

I'm glad local skaters got a chance to perform in front of the audience. It not only brings local families, club members, and friends to the rink, it gives them a chance to perform and be part of a show with the skaters they look up to.

Amber Glenn slayed. I hope that Vampire number is a competitive number.

Brown's Tarzan is another masterpiece. Tons of interpretation and character and audience eye contact.

Ilia's number to 30 years of hope https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tkvuaA0nak&t=5s. Wow. Emotion.

Presenters were (a very pregnant) Castelli and Schnapir, Gracie Gold in pants and a tube top, and a possibly "baked" Jean-Luc Baker.

Is it correct It’s no longer possible to view this?

THERE WAS NO JACOB ON THE STREAM! Somebody above mentioned him. Did I blink and miss him? A lot of my young faves were missing… but Lautova’s daughter was there.

He did not skate. The list of participants changed on the morning of the show so it's possible that he was taken out when things got shifted around - I know Chan/Howe and Plazas/Fernandez were also on the initial list but wound up not skating.
