The event will cap off a two-day celebration, including workshops and seminars, dedicated to the legendary Olympic Champion, Dick Button, and his legacy of innovation and passion for the creativity of artistic skating. [...]
The evening showcase will feature the unique works of highly-acclaimed artistic skating companies including, American Ice Theatre, Ice Dance International, Ice Theatre of New York, Joy Skate Theatre Productions and The Next Ice Age.
Olympian Paul Wylie and Curtis McGraw Webster of the Lisa McGraw Figure Skating Foundation are the founders and visionaries behind the event. Boston-native and Olympian, Dr. Tenley E. Albright will also serve as Honorary Chair of the Festival.

The Skating Club of Boston proudly presents the Dick Button Artistic Figure Skating Festival, a day-long celebration of the grace, innovation and creativity of artistic skating. Rooted in Dick Button’s legacy of innovation and fostering excellence in skating, this event is new to New England, and promises to be an energizing day of creative workshops and seminars, culminating in an evening show featuring the unique works of five, highly-acclaimed, artistic skating companies.

Step into a world where figure skating transcends its roots in sport to showcase its beauty and innovation as an art form. The Dick Button Artistic Figure Skating Evening Showcase will feature multiple, ensemble skating performances from the below five artistic skating companies, with introductions of the companies and their individual works by each company’s artistic director.

Ice Theater of New York
Ice Dance International
Joy Skate
The Next Ice Age

The show will also feature special performances by guest skaters, including the four-time U.S. Champion and two-time Olympian, Jeremy Abbott, and the world-renowned, 29-time U.S. Synchronized Skating Champions, the Haydenettes.
