I should have posted about this much earlier, but here it is now, anyway ...
Ice Dance International (IDI) is putting on a new skating tour this fall. It's called Grace, and it features a cast of dancers including Alissa Czisny, Karina Manta, Joe Johnson, and Kseniya Ponomarenko. They are performing shows around the Northeast, including a show tomorrow night (Saturday 9/24) at Skating Club of Boston.
The IDI shows are all about ice dance and interesting choreography. No quads or jumps, really, it's just about beautiful skating. They do longer-form programs, similar to Theatre on Ice. If you have time and are near one of their show locations, it's a nice thing to check out. Tickets are inexpensive; $15-$25.
