The Skaters need to collect points at this years Nationals, World Championships, 4 Continents, the Grand Prixs and Challengers
The ranking explained in Appendix B is based on scores for 2025-6 events, not WS points or placements. Each input has a factor/multiplier, listed in detail per type.
The only points added are based on placements in 2025 championships — US Nationals, Previous Olympics or Worlds for top 8 (greater of the two), Four Continents, and Jr. Worlds. (For Pairs and Dance, 25% of that can be earned with a previous partner.) That ship has sailed for everyone. Malinin, Brown, Liu, Levito, Glenn, Chock/Bates, Carreira/Ponomarkeno, Efimova/Mitrofanov, and Kam/O’Shea will get points for Worlds (Top 8). Ma, Pulkinen, Tennell, Everhardt, Liu, K/O, E/M, C/B,C/P, and Zingas/Kolesnik for 4C’s (Top 5). Lin-Gracey and Woldkostin/Tsarevski for Jr. Worlds (podium). Glenn, Liu, Everhardt, C/B,C/P, Green/Parsns, E/M, McBeath/Parkman, K/O, Malinin, Torgashev, Pulkinen for US Nationals (Top 3). That’s 2-12 points depending on the competition and placement.
Going forward, it wouldn’t matter if Nauman placed second at an event with a score of 200 and another Man placed fifth at another event with a score of 230 points, or vice versa: it’s the number of points times the factor that matters.
