I just looked up the summary for Two Distant Strangers and I think I'm going to have to check it out. I love a time loop movie/tv show episode.

I thought it was well done and had maybe the best production values of the nominees. Also liked Feeling Through which was produced by Marlee Maitlin.

Interesting re original b’way WSS version with a bigger role for Anybodys. She was presented in a jokey way in the original movie. I’m a bit biased against remakes. A WSS production at the Guthrie in Minneapolis changed the choreo not in a good way

Me too but I’m glad it’s not for that movie. She’ll win for a better movie though the Academy needs to hurry up. And I kind of think Close should win Lead when she finally wins.

Honestly my fave film of the year, in any category, and I don’t normally watch a lot of creature features. But this one grabbed my heart and I am happy it won tonight.
