I really enjoyed Crossing Lines when it ran on CBC (one of the producing partners), despite the somewhat farfetched premise.

Good to know. I watched the first episode last night, so that encourages me to continue.
Anyone have any suggestions for a good detective/police/crime series that isn't too gruesome? I tried Rush last night and wasn't really impressed.
Also looking for a TV series of any genre set in a holiday-like setting, such as Death in Paradise, Royal Pains or Reef Doctors. I won't be able to get away this summer so am looking to vacation vicariously!
That has happened to me in the past. I never figured out a workaround. Just gave up on those shows.
I'm trying to remember if they eventually worked (say a month later). But I can't. Sorry.

Have you watched the Endeavour series on PBS? Quite good. There are 2 seasons out and I've read that season 3 will start sometime here in June.Line of Duty.
I just don't know about PB. I'd heard that it was soooooo good. . . but it's so friggin' violent. I had to stop watching.Just finished season three of Peaky Blinders on Netflix. This series keeps getting better and better.
Sherlock? Or (my favorite) the 1980-90s Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series. It's on Netflix.Anyone have any suggestions for a good detective/police/crime series that isn't too gruesome?
