I have to admit that I really enjoyed you having a dig at @Tinami Amori about Eteri wearing a fur coat. I was curious if Tinami would overlook it, or if she has some ‘innocent’ explanation/excuse about why on this rare occasion Eteri didn’t behave in Tinami’s approved manner. ;) I mean, maybe Eteri has a cold and needed to keep warm, so on such occassion a fur coat would be acceptable? (And attach a few photos of Eteri sneezing into tissues and more photos of Eteri with a hot cup of tea with honey and lemon...)
Does it make me a bad person, that I can’t resist having a dig? :(

It was funny! No harm done. Someone who dares to call Liza fat should have thick enough skin to handle a little teasing.

This winter he also has a skating school in Gorki Park in Moscow. It is not a school for champions, just an opportunity to try skating for ordinary kids. Kids don't have to pay for it. Yagudin does it for the second time: such a school worked in this park a year ago too.

Not long ago Yagudin performed together with Kazakh kids in Ust-Kamenogorsk (even though he had to open a map to see where Ust-Kamenogorsk is). He tells he says "yes!", when he is invited to such events, - if he has time. (It seems to him he doesn't get out of aeroplanes.)

It is odd, but he also says they are going to open a fully-featured skating school in spring. It is odd, but he also "thinks" about opening a school in Belarus. (is he going to do it, when he has time?) :)

He also hosts a TV show in Belarus, they haven't start showing it yet. This show is about fashion, about helping girls to become confident. He is one of the hosts.

She has more personality in her little finger then T/M have in their whole bodies. Some skaters just have the it factor. You just know it when you see it. Sort of like when Oksana Baiul showed up for the World championships in 1993. All she had to do was get in her opening pose and the crowd noticed her.

Keep teasing... i can handle getting more attention than Russian medalists and olympics in a russian skating topic...;)

I have had many disappointments, so what is one more? :) I am loving B&K right now. If they continue to develop and do well next season, I will be in that danger zone, and ready for a heart break.

Everyone but you agrees that Tuktamysheva is gorgeous, so your catty comment about her waistline is not the objective statement of fact you think it is. Which is beside the point because even if she wasn’t, criticising her appearance with the justification that she posts photos of herself online and should therefore be okay with being insulted would be inappropriate.

No. not everyone. there are other websites where people also make comments.. :p. personal opinions are never objective. we just have different ones. also, look up the difference between "insult", "critique" and "opinion".

I can hear your jealousy from America.

Liza might not be a stick-figure (because she actually eats, unlike some Russian skaters), but I don’t find anything unattractive about her. She’s far from overweight and if she is confident in her body, then I don’t see what’s the fuss.
