I don’t know, sorry.

Tarasova/Morozov returned their Rach SP, but changed it a little bit.
Source: Trankov on MatchTV

This is amazing news! I think that program was one of their best shorts; can’t wait to see the changes too. I had my doubts but Trankov is really turning them into the classy mature team they are capable of being, and I love it’

That's definitely a good plan! They'll never be the wacky fun team no matter how much they want to be, and they'll always be naturally suited to Russian classical music. It's not too severe a problem to have. :p

However I hope her sparkly red SP dress gets recycled for another program in the future. It's hella cute.

My first thought was the dress! She looks SO pretty in it, it’d be a crime not to see it again. Frankly I hope she uses it for the Rachmaninoff program, as I didn’t really like the original Rach dress.

It seems that Trankov and FSU are in complete agreement:
https://www.sports.ru/figure-skating/1070680594.html
Retelling of highlights (not verbatum):
Trankov is very happy to return to Rachmaninov, as he considers it T/M's best program. He tried to insist at the beginning of the year that T/M keep Rachmaninov, but Morozov was adamant that "they are not the Pair that repeats programs". So they tried the style they wanted, and Trankov says it was important for T/M to realize themselves which style suits them, and which does not.
Trankov says that he sees T/M as a "classic Russian pair", and there's no need to try to invent the bicycle.
Once they went back to last year's LP, he immediately saw the difference.
He loves the choreo of Rachmaninov, but says it needs to be modified to accommodate new elements, and it's tricky, there's a risk. T/M are at 70-80%, but there's still a week till Europeans.

Wise choice! I hope this benefits them - can’t see how it wouldn’t!

I’m not a big “kid” person, but this just melted me. I adore this little family!
All is great... except why do Russian skating stars have to wear dead animals' coats... :angryfire every friggin one of them is in a fur coat. too many fotos to post.. I'd love to get a message to "russian ladies skaters": fur makes you look old and bourgeois... and all the little dogs and cats you have as pets, and love and hug, are "same animals".... idiot!

I've never worn a fur coat in my life. I wonder, are they that much warmer than some of the best non-fur coats out there?

I agree. The only ones that should be wearing fur are the animals.

I believe that is artificial fur on Tatiana. But to wear real fur is an old tradition in Russia . Hard to forget the furs and thinking other way..

@Mad for Skating In my opinion Max also has beautiful eyes

Don’t see the reason to start a discussion about furs in here, since Tatiana isn’t even wearing one - it’s a sweater with some kind of artificial fur, which has nothing in common with real fur coats :)

March 8 is his birthday. There was show on that day almost every year. Probably it will be a great remarkeable show.
Apparently, this time the show will be a celebration of both Mishin and Moskvina (who also celebrates 50 years of coaching this year), their greatest students are expected to participate in the event

How do you feel about those luxurious fur coats and fur collars on Eteri Tutberidze? Have never seen you criticize her for those. Next time a picture of her wearing a possible fur item is posted, I hope you express your deep disappointment.
I am less concerned with older generation coaches (TAT, ET, Chaikovskaya, Buianova, etc) wearing them, as i know "where it is coming from and why", than with younger ones in their late teens/early 20's.. like Medvedeva, Radionova, Sotskova, Davankova, Bobrova, these are just easy to find, but there are many more... unfortunately.. and they have more than one coat "to keep them warm"..

I am very glad to see that Tutberidze's "fur wearing days" ended, more or less, two years ago, and last two season most of the time she wears non-furs... and switched to elegant and smart style..

There are plenty of fabriques today to use for winter wear, which look good and keep one warm.

Buyanova is 55. TAT and Chaikovkaya are in their 70s. TAT Eteri is 44 years old. I do not consider that an older generation coach. If anything she's a younger generation coach. I saw her wearing fur (real one) a couple of months ago. You don't need to make excuses for her. I think it's none of our business what she (or anyone else) wears.

Regardless of age, wearing fur for elite Russian coaches was a status symbol, "power image" and part of mind games they play with each other. At least Eteri got the drift and is switching to non-fur (even if she has a few old ones).

It's none of our business what they wear, to the same degree as it is none of our business what they eat, how thin they chose to be, how to train and how many hours and by what methods..... but alas! that seems to be everybody's business, just as much as many other personal and private issues of "skaters/coaches" when they hit on "ideology" and yet do not affect anyone on the outside... :D

Fashion fur, however, means "killing a living creature not for a life necessity"...

Oh, I agree with you for once. I think it'd be a wonderful message to send to a young influential coach like Eteri, to stop wearing fur in public. She's a role model to so many after all. Maybe even suggest to young skaters to adopt dogs from shelters - rather than get designer puppies. I just didn't get the point of bringing negativity to Volosozhar's lovely family photo. There are better ways to help animals. ;)

Did he say it???
What are you asking? you saw the russian video i linked. He said a bunch of words...

"Dear friends, and here i am with permission of the doctor, who examined me.... standing here, on the ice, no sweat (nicely/calmly), stroke, stroke, stroke... So my friends, those who care for me and cared for me, i am fine, thank you for support, everything is ok with me. Moving forward, back to labor, back to work! wishing all happy mood, and of course good health. kisses!".

Anna Shcherbakova's pets are street strays (cats and dogs), her family adopted few (couple?) of them... i don't remember which is stray and which is not, but here are some fotos.

«У меня тоже. Собака Бони – она прибежала к нам на дачу еще щенком. Это дворняжка, очень добрая, белая, пушистая, похожая на лайку-самоеда. Еще есть кошка Шайни породы мейн-кун. Красивая, тоже пушистая, но с характером. И недавно мы подобрали на улице маленького котенка. Из-за перенесенной болезни он совсем не видит. При этом он такой же шустрый, как обычный котенок. Его назвали Шипой от слова шипеть».

"I too have pets. Dog named "Bonnie" - she wondered into our summer cottage/dacha when she was a puppy. It's a mutt, very kind, white and fluffy, looks like husky-samoyed mix. We also have a cat, named Shiny, maine coon breed. Recently we picked up a small kitten on a side walk. He suffered an illness which left him blind. But all the same, he is a fast/lively kitten, like any healthy cat. We called him Shippa (Hisser) from the word "to hiss"."

I was referring to Zagitova.
