You jinxed it!!! after the first half it was a borefest until the last minutes. Im dissapointed in Croatia they played almost as safe as Denmark but at least the right team went through.

I can't get over how useless Spain were. 770 passes and 74% possession and they did NOTHING with it. How is that even possible? The minute they actually made a run at the defense, Russia got all flustered, but they didn't think to do this until minute 105. What is the point of Diego Costa? Russia are not a good team but Spain played right into their hands and deserved to lose.

Agree. I don't know which match was worse CRO-DEN was boring but RUS-ESP had the potential and still we got tons of futile passes.

You can't, penalty is the only way to stop it. If i were a defense with the world cup in line sadly but not regretly I'd do the same. Too bad about the missing kick but at least Modric revindicate himself in the penalty shoots.
