Why oh why does Neymar do all the play acting and rolling round the floor as if his leg has been chopped off - he is so skilled as a player there is no need for this!! At least the referee ignored his last effort!!!

He's getting ignored more and more when he does it. Even his own teammates can't be arsed. It already bit him last World Cup when he got seriously hurt and the referee didn't believe him or do anything because he had a reputation for play-acting.

There are divers and then there's this garbage. Thomas Mueller dives, and I can say that honestly as a Bayern fan. He does, and it's one of the things I like least about him. But he never takes it this far. Nor does CR7, or Arjen Robben--they kvetch for a bit and are irritating, but it's not the same level. Neymar just debases himself. It's horrific and embarrassing to watch. I bet they could put an end to it with retroactive bookings for simulation like they do in MLS.
