The 2020-2021 season entry for the ISU world standing is empty. I wonder how ISU will draw the order at the worlds.

As they usually do, using the ISU worlds standings.
ISU World standings - dance

The draws are never based just on the current season, they are always on the ISU rankings for the last 3 seasons.

Skaters competing this weekend at Challenge Cup and Sophia Trophy for Worlds TES minimums:

* = country has at least one skater with both TES minimums already
Need SP min only
Need FS min only

Scores are relatively close in both segments

Men: 34/64
ST - Mikhail Shaidorov KAZ SP/FS, Davide Lewton-Brain MON FS
I didn't realize that Shaidorov had the SP min from Jr Worlds last year, but now he has it as a Sr also!

Good luck to him and Lewton Brain tomorrow in getting their FS minimums!

This morning at Challenge Cup only 2 guys who were looking for it achieved the SP minimum - Reshtenko and Guarino. Hopefully they can also, along with Carrillo, also earn the FS minimums tomorrow!
Well, Carrillo was the only one of these three to earn the minimums, which YAY for Mexico! But sad for Reshtenko and Guarino. Maybe they got the minimums via video???

Sadly none of the pairs that were looking for FS minimums today at Challenge Cup achieved them. We'll see what the Worlds entries lists look like this next week to see if some/any of them submitted videos and did better on those than in competition.

And no FS minimums achieved by the ladies at Sophia Trophy. Grm had an awful skate and Dubinina was pretty far off also. Hoping they submitted videos.

And Shaidorov earned his FS min today (by the skin of his chinny-chin-chin 64.60)!

Good day for 2/5 of the men going for their FS minimums in both the Netherlands and Bulgaria. Not so much for the other 3.

From ISU Communication 2370:

The Technical Element Score earned through video evaluation, will only be valid for entry to the ISU
World Figure Skating Championships 2021. After these Championships, the respective score will be
deleted and replaced either by the score earned at these Championships or by the previous highest
score earned by the Skater/Pair/Couple.

2.4 Evaluation
The results of the evaluation will be communicated no later than March 1 – 12:00 (noon) CET in order
to meet the March 1 entry deadline for the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021.

Per the Finnish Association via @Finnice , Valtter Virtanen was one of those skaters who successfully passed the video review and will go to Worlds, so it's likely the skaters all already know.

I don't believe the ISU communication about the video TES stated when the results would be known. The Team Georgia Figure Skating IG account stated, when they announced that pairs team Anastasiia Metelkina and Danill Parkman were going to represent Georgia at Worlds, stated the team had achieved their minimums. Since this team isn't on the ISU minimum list for pairs, I assume they were submitted via the video review process. So, my guess is that most teams/skaters have been informed already but who knows?

Maybe this is the wrong thread but is there any news about Kazakova/Reviya? Are they recovered from his injury and heading to Worlds?

Oooooo!!!! The ISU updated the TES lists to include the TES videos!

Senior Men
Senior Ladies
Senior Pairs
Senior Ice Dance

Men - submitted & didn't meet mins - BLR Yauhenii Puzanau, MON Davide Lewton-Brain, POL Kornel Witkowski, ESP Pablo Garcia

Ladies - submitted & didn't meet mins - FIN Laura Karhunen, ISL Aldis Kara Bergsdottir, IND Tara Prasad, MEX Andrea Montesinos Cantu (earned the SP but missed the FS 49.66)

Pairs - Knieriem/Frazier, Chan/Howe, the Georgians, and Ukrainians made the minimums. Broda/Betegon Martin and Herbrikova/Roulet didn't submit videos. Crafoords, Choinard/Mayr, Vaipan-Law/Digby did not. I assume that means Jones/Boyadji will go to Worlds if they're in shape.

Dance - NZL had a team (Charlotte Lafond-Fournier/Richard Kang In Kam) submit TES videos but they didn't meet the mins in either portion; and there were two teams that submitted RD for TES but no FD - USA's Cesanek/Yehorov and AZE's Yulia Alieva/Artur Biktimirov.

ETA that more skaters could have submitted videos than what I've copied out above since only the skaters' higher TES is included in the "Technical Score for the current & 2 previous season (in accordance with ISU Communication 2370, para. 1.1)" lists on the ISU website.

Metelkina & Parkman from Georgia, never watched them before, but given the scores they got with the TES Video evaluation those scores are decent enough to maybe qualify them to the Free Skate or be near to doing so.

And guess what? with Morisi Kvitelashvili plus Kazakova/Reviya moving to seniors GEORGIA could be well in the hunt for an olympic berth at the Team Event in Beijing.

Urushadze, Kazakova-Reviya, Kvitelashvili and Metelkina/Parkman

I really appreciate how many skaters and teams were able to qualify through this process and how many tried. Clearly, it wasn't just Knierim/Frazer who benefitted from the opportunity - 20 countries submitted entries, and some of the skaters/teams just missed out (Garcia, Montesinos Cantu, Crafoord/Crafoord, Alieva/Biktimirov, Lafond-Fournier/Kam).
