Ashley has been sharing in her Instagram stories for the past couple of days that she is in Korea for Team Toyota (this press release was posted on the previous page): http://pressroom.toyota.com/release...+olympic+winter+games+experience+for+fans.htmBut still not clear what she is doing in Korea. She was mysteriously hyping about sharing from the Opening Ceremonies, but I glanced at her social & didn't see much.
When you're dancing on thin ice, every jump is a leap of faith. This film follows the story of Team Toyota Athlete Ashley Wagner, a figure skater who overcame the traumatic effects of six concussions to win an Olympic medal. At Toyota, we believe when we are free to move, anything is possible. So we’re on a mission to make movement better for everyone.

https://twitter.com/AshWagner2010/status/962879172329615360Just left filming to find out that @mirai_nagasu got her axel called clean in the team comp! So proud of this girl, such an inspiration with what she has done to her career
Looking @TeamUSA right now looking great for a medal! So excited for my teammates having this moment
And then? [after SOI tour] "We’ll see!" she says. "I’m training through the summer and I’m going to make up my mind with what I want to do next year, but, definitely headed [for] commentating or something to that degree. I’d love to get involved with the other side of the sport."
Wagner says her "story" is far from over, and certainly didn't end when she didn't make the 2018 Olympic team.
"My career has been through so many ups and downs. Not making this Olympic team was a huge disappointment for me but I like to think that who I am as an athlete and, you know, my struggle is also part of my story," she explains. "And people seeing that, and seeing that you can take something that was just a devastating tragedy and turn it into something so much bigger than what you thought it was gonna be in positive direction, I think that’s really important for people to see."
True. But if she needs someone to vent to she needs to find some off else this week. Adam is a little busy. It’s funny. When Adam made the team and Ashley didn’t one of my thoughts was, wow he will be so busy and how hard for her to go through this alone. And this makes it sound like that’s how it’s kind of playing out.
"Adam is always on his phone, but he never texts back!" divulges Wagner. "I've managed to sneak in a couple of video chats with him so we can talk about his experience — it’s something that’s so cool [but] sometimes you just need someone to vent to and just get it all out there."
She meant that he needed people to vent to. She referred to "his experience," not hers.
I believe ANL is referring to what I posted in Bradie's cheer thread about her clean FS run through yesterday.Where are you seeing practices? Is there a live link?
Nice video from Ashley. She’s apparently dating a bobsledder.
Confidence has never been an issue for Ashley...Well,, form what Im seeing in practice today (NOT COUNTING BRADIE, she on fire) Ashley should be on this team.....
Just dont know why judges gave it to Karen and not Ash when Karen showed no confidence this season or at Nats.....
Sigh... and oh yeah... #NotSorry
Confidence has never been an issue for Ashley...
