@AngieNikodinovLove - here's your fax for the day.
As far as I’m concerned, Thorngren and Seo are not Levito and Glenn. But you were mostly correct, bless your heart.as far as I’m concerned, I already reported this news back on Monday or Tuesday… #ANLsHotTip

Any idea what that was all about? I thought maybe she had a school or family conflict when she said, at Worlds, that she wouldn't be competing at WTT.I'm glad Isabeau changed her mind and is doing WTT. Hopefully she can enjoy herself and have some fun.
I believe the implication was fatigue at the end of the season, but who really knows?Any idea what that was all about? I thought maybe she had a school or family conflict when she said, at Worlds, that she wouldn't be competing at WTT.
I think maybe more-so the $36,250 minimum payday and the concept of a bigger and better vacation afterwards is more likelyI'm speculating that Isabeau didn't realize what a fun event this is supposed to be and someone (Jason?) explained it to her. So not as fatiguing.

Whatever the reason, I hope it is what.she wants to do and has a great time doing it. The trip should be fun and the money is always nice.I think maybe more-so the $36,250 minimum payday and the concept of a bigger and better vacation afterwards is more likely![]()
Somebody here said that she said the day of the Worlds long program that she was going on vacation and was not going to WTT. I was never able to find that information anywhere else. I would think that USFS had provided her information about the timing and financial benefits of WTT a while ago. But, maybe she did say that she wasn't going to go and felt the need for a break the day of the long program but changed her mind. Other skaters love this competition, and she spent time with other skaters at the gala and banquet and possibly on the flight home. They may have told her how great the competition is.Any idea what that was all about? I said it, because she said it during the post-long interviews.Somebody here said that she said the day of the Worlds long program that she was going on vacation and was not going to WTT. “I am very upset about the initial mistake. I feel like I missed out on a great opportunity. I am glad I was able to put myself together and get through the rest of the program well, but I felt the regret about the initial mistake all through the program.
I will probably not do WTT, but it’s still to be decided.
I am definitely taking some vacations now and the will be getting ready for next season.” [/unquote]
Here’s my quote, so yes you did:Ah, okay. She hadn't actually said that she definitely wasn't doing WTT, and she said it was still to be decided. And she didn't say she had a planned vacation that conflicted with WTT and that was why she could not compete. I may have misinterpreted what you had posted.
By the way, Levito's quotes after the free skate mention that she probably won't do WTT because she wants to go on vacation/end the season.
The WTT is not the most serious of competitions and each team member from all countries is making anywhere from $16,250 to $25,000 just for being in the final results. There’s honestly not a tremendous ‘pressure’ factor to it IMO and the US is pretty much assured a medal anyways. If she’s burnt out and doesn’t want to do it, then she could’ve declined. But I really do think with the very recent addition of bonus money, it made the incentive better to just show up and worry about a nice vacation/chill time afterwards. In any event, I hope she wants to take part in WTT and isn't just being pressured to do it. It is a little bit more difficult for her than most of the other American team members.
Why was Bradie passed over in favor of Amber. Their Worlds outings were about the same but Bradie US silver medalist.

Amber also finished higher at Worlds.because she is much much much higher up the world standings Domestic nationals are not the criteria for selections here
12 vs 15, a difference without much meaning. I wasn`t picking up that rosters based only on world standings. I`m happy Amber`s doing better this year, but Bradie is where she is because she hasn`t been competing.Amber also finished higher at Worlds.
Are you positing the notion that Bradie would have earned any WS points last season had she competed? I'm going to go out on a very short, firm limb and say she wouldn't have earned any points for any GP, Challenger or other international competition she entered last season, and I doubt she would have been named to the Olympic, 4CCs or Worlds teams either.12 vs 15, a difference without much meaning. I`m assuming she would have been skating healthily in which case she would have gotton plenty of points; She didn`t compete because she wasn`t in the mood; she was injured. Are you positing the notion that Bradie would have earned any WS points last season had she competed?
