Oh NBC. You grab my attention with these big blockbuster movie type ad campaigns for shows that look a little bizarre but could have a really cool story to them and have interesting characters, so I watch the shows, get hooked and then you cancel them after 1-3 seasons and give no conclusions or answers and leave me going WTF just happened (i.e., Debris, Manifest, Revolution). Do you really think you are going to suck me in again with La Brea? Do you???? Well yeah .... probably.

It wasn't my intention to watch 9/11 stuff but the National Geographic series is well done imho. And then I woke up to interviews with babies (now twenty) who were born after their fathers were killed that day. Sometimes it feels like it was yesterday.

I am anxiously awaiting the return of The Daily Show after Trevor Noah ended last season saying that he wanted the show to be something different than before. I think he said something along the lines about wanting to build connection rather than further division amont people. But the only thing about the show when I google for into about what will be different is whether he will be filming in a studio or still in his apartment. Frustrating. I want to know what's going to happen!!

Weird, I've always had this series scheduled to record. I looked and there aren't any Cheerleader episodes in the list of shows to record at all. I manually recorded the two episodes of Mom it says are on at that time. We'll see what happens.

I watched the series premiere of The Big Leap which FOX released early online (it debuts on TV on 9/20). I didn’t think it was the best thing I’ve ever watched, but it was intriguing enough to make me want to watch the second episode. I see that FOX released that one early too.

I binged all of Ted Lasso. What a great show, the hype was no exaggeration.
Sudeikis is just wonderful as is the whole cast. Very fun, great humor - and intelligent.
Several of the characters are shown reading books and no one is 'sitcom type dumb'.
Perfect balance of the fish out of water story, teasing and humor with some some moments.
I am now catching up on Yellowstone. It is sort of like Succession - wealthy family with a male head and adult children that are mostly not likeable (one is likeable but has major issues - as all the kids do). The scenery is great.
