2017 Fall-Spring TV New/Returning Shows

The Good Doctor was picked up for a full season. I'm not sure if I'll continue watching, though. I just don't care about any of the characters other than Shawn.

Agreed.
I gave it a 2nd chance. It was better than the pilot but I don't know if it's enough to keep watching. I'm keeping it in my recording schedule but it will probably end up being a nothing better to watch choice at the moment.

Some new shows I have checked out:

The Disappearance - Liked it and will keep watching. I also like that it is only six episodes.
The Good Doctor - :cheer2: Loved Shaun and will keep watching just for him. For now.
The Gifted - loved it but it went from "you're keeping us safe" to running from the big bad evil government too fast for my liking. The show definitely has it's problems but was loads of fun!
SEAL Team - NEH! Lost me in the opening minutes. (n)
Inhumans - not up to Marvel's usual high standards but was fun and I will certainly keep watching.

Lost me with the previews.

It was bad. But it's only 8 episodes and we've seen 2 (the "movie" was 2 episodes for people who didn't know that) so we'll probably stick it out for the remaining 6. I reserve the right to change my mind though.

Didn't stick around that long to find out. :shuffle: It started with the main character talking to a psychiatrist and of course being a jerk. I just rolled my eyes and switched channels. But I believe the show it about a weekly mission rather than a legal type drama.

I don't know if this has been discussed here or not, but I am quite sad that this will be the last season of The Middle. Loved the show since the beginning. At least, they can go out on their own terms. I given up on Eden Sher ever getting an Emmy Nomination.
Seriously one of the biggest snubs in recent memory. She has been brilliant. I think Neil Flynn should have gotten a couple of nods, too. Patricia Heaton has been great, but she has a bunch from Everybody Loves Raymond, so I don't feel as badly about her. The show itself should have multiple nominations!!

 I'm giving it a go because that guy from Bones is in it.

It’s on my DVR and I haven’t seen it yet. Is it basically a glorified JAG? That show made me  but I wonder if that was because I am an actual Navy veteran and their storylines and execution was horrendous.

That's why I tried it, for David Boreanaz from Bones and Angel. Suffered through the entire first episode but I didn't like it enough to keep watching. BTW, A. J. Buckley from CSI NY (Adam Ross) is in it too.
The second episode was better than the first (if you can suspend your disbelief at the casual way they functioned in a facility with a deadly virus/disease and many victims). However, I won't set any timer in order to make sure I see it.

Catching up on Will & Grace from last week. Add me to the group that didn't really like the first episode at all. Second episode was much better but something about the way Debra Messing delivers some of her lines/talks now bothers me.
