2015 - 2016 TV Season

I hate you people! Because of you, I now have two new tv shows that I'm hooked on. Stop recommending things! :mitchell:

The two shows are Blindspot and Limitless. I tried My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and couldn't make it through one episode though. I just can't stand to be around overly dramatic people. I had too many in my real life growing up.

I switched channels during Blindspot last night. I just lost patience. LOL I have also dropped Heroes Reborn which has to be the dumbest new show on TV.

I just dropped Heroes Reborn as well. Every episode is about people struggling from persecution from beginning to end. There are no light moments, no scenes where people experience any joy in spite of their situation. WAY too much of a downer for me to stick with... :fragile:

I recently finished a series from Finland called Easy Living on Acorn TV. Best TV I've seen in a while. Didn't even mind the subtitles.

I recommend 'The 100'. i was pretty skeptical when I first started watching; the first couple episodes aren't the best, but it really gets so much better after that. It's a quality show with some good storylines (though definitely some stupid teenager moments). I'm about to start the second season on Netflix; just waiting for a friend to catch up to me so we can watch together.

Anybody watching Wicked City? Didn't think I would get so hooked. I want it to be a movie so we don't have to wait till next week to find out what happens next. And it's not a cliffhanger thing, just like "shoot, it's over already?" I hope it doesn't get disappointing.

I may be alone in this, but I think Fresh off the Boat is one of the best comedies on tv now. Super funny dialogue, and the woman who plays the mom is just hilarious.

I watch Wicked City but only because it reminds me of the original Law & Order. :shuffle:

Glad you find it engaging -- maybe I'll check it out.

Watch the first two episodes on demand or online first or you won't know what's going on! I don't know - the critics hate it. But what else is on Tuesday night at 10? It's only a 10 episode series, like that goofy thing about the detective showing up at that guy's front door every five minutes. I can't even remember what it was called!! So there will be an ending in 8 weeks (after all the holiday pre-emptions?). And it probably will not be back next year with a new criminal or anything.

I have a soft spot for Elementary and am pleased it's returned this week. Looking forward to Person of Interest returning too...

I'm hanging in there with Blindspot just because the premise is interesting. The casting is tragic, which is what's keeping it from being a really interesting show IMO.

Loving Homeland this season! Different country and dynamic. Plus I am intrigued by the promos with Damian Lewis called Billionaire.

The Blacklist is more interesting to me this season. I kinda like Keen on the run with Reddington. I wasn't sure how it was all going to play out with the FBI team, but I'm glad to see they are kind of in her corner, and suspicious of the CIA Director. And Tom is still there, and he's always good for eye candy.

Legends is back with Sean Bean! I haven't watched the first episode this season yet, but crossing my fingers that it's still good :)

Clueless me didn't know that this was a second season. I watched the first episode and felt really stupid that it was taking me so long to figure out what was going on. Since then, I've ordered the first season on DVD (arrived today) and will be trying to catch up fast!

Guess NBC is setting a new trend - they're already renewing shows  Blindspot has been renewed http://tvline.com/2015/11/09/blindspot-renewed-season-2-at-nbc/ and according to one of the exec producer's twitter, Chicago Fire and PD were renewed as well.

ETA: Just found this. Seems to be official http://deadline.com/2015/11/chicago-fire-chicago-pd-renewed-nbc-1201616315/

It is official. They had a big premiere party for the new show, Chicago Med, in Chicago tonight and the NBC president announced it to everyone at the party. I'm SUPER excited two of my favorite shows are all ready going to be back next season!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Happy about Blindspot! Now if I could just find the premier episode to watch. It's not on Hulu. :(

Beginning to get a bit worried for Supergirl but still decent numbers for the show. The only thing I do not like about the show is, believe it or not, the costume. I cannot stand the thing. I think it looks so outdated. LOL

Thanks to Netflix, Hulu, and websites like Dramafever and Viki, I've been binge watching a lot of Asian dramas mostly from Taiwan, Korea, and Japan (they tend to last 13-22 episodes). Some are utterly ridiculous and I can't watch past the first episodes or so but others are very good. The problem is that they're highly addicting. Anyone else watch it these types of shows?

I just caught up with Sunday's Madam Secretary and :cheer2: Eric Stoltz! He's another one I've seen listed in the production credits (and a few episodes as director) and I wondered if we'd ever see him on the other side of the camera.

I'd let him take my temperature any day. :swoon:

I watch Wicked City but only because it reminds me of the original Law & Order. :shuffle:

Stupid question - wouldn't he have to completely clean the inside of his car after every "episode"? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Having watched the first batch of episodes of Aziz Ansari's Master of None on Netflix, it's interesting that Aziz used his own parents as Dev's mother and father (perhaps to bring more authenticity, with their dialogues throughout being effectively ad-libbed).
