All the women getting ill-advised haircuts reminds me of Lauren Ambrose's story where she got the part in the teen movie Can't Hardly Wait around this time and they convinced her to cut her long beautiful red hair because they were going to give her this "hip, short haircut" and well...what she ended up with was something Ambrose has always regretted because it's probably her most seen project outside of Six Feet Under.
