Junior Worlds - Free Dance

Nguyen/Kolesnik. Stunning costumes. Love the classic skating. He is such a star! They brought their A-game.
Kazakova/Reviya. This was ****ing amazing I wished it could have won! I loved how before the skate everyone just wanted to get a piece of @Hanna 's flag
Shanaeva/Naryzhnyy. I really like them so I am sad for them, but well, this was #3 for me too. Not to speak of Zhuk's junior teams success going senior
Ushakova.Nekrasov. Too staged for me. But I will always love them for their 'Be Italian' FD back in the day.
Davis.Smolkin. I just wished they would get better material. Program does not suit them at all. But on a fair note, this was the best they skated this FD this season.
Demougeot.LeMercier. The chore steps to end are everything. He is so damn hot! French junior dance guys (swipe to 3rd)
D'Alessandro.Waddell. ****ing Meat Loaf!
CYP. Best choreo slide ever ever!

@Hanna 's flag was epic! And the joy of cheering!

I watched the top three, and as you know I'm not that into dance, but I enjoyed both GEO and USA. Bondage Russians were very Team Zhuk. Don't know if that's good or bad. The choreo roll makes me cringe.

N/K were amazing. Such beautiful flow. Amazing lifts and glide. RACH WINS! For me, what made the difference is that they stayed all true to their concept. Rach is not original, I agree, but they took it to the max. Georgians were FAB! I loved them, but I wished the pushed the hiphop/breakdance/modern-concept even further. They did create a special and exciting mood and I couldn't take my eyes off them. But why was she wearing a sparkly dress? Why didn't they create even more originality in their lifts, with their hands, arms... I adore them! I just feel they can do even more. Slay Georgia! They can do the modern stuff that some Zhuk teams try, with the speed and glide that will give them all the points! Go do it! Save ice dance for us, I need more than just P/C. (I don't like their slam poetry much )
