Not really on topic, but those initials are going to be an issue for me. Just makes me think of Gilles/Poirier.

Still makes me think of Grishuk & Platov ;) . But yeah, I think we're pretty much toast here. Last year someone used P&P for Gilles & Poirier at Nebelhorn and I assumed they meant the Parsons so I asked the poster to please stick with final initials. Now there is just no hope.

Wolfkostin & Chen and Green & Parsons have been added to the International Selection Pool.

Team Envelopes are also updated, and the three novice medal teams are on the list :).

GETTING TO KNOW: ANYA LAVROVA & MAXWELL GART (June 29, 2019): https://www.ice-dance.com/site/getting-to-know-anya-lavrova-maxwell-gart/
They placed 3rd in their Junior debut at the Chesapeake Open last month.

Katarina Wolfkostin & Jeffrey Chen's 1st place showing at Chesapeake (scored 150+ total) landed them in the ISP (as expected).

Marina Zoueva has five new teams listed to debut at the Cactus Classic club competition in Arizona: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...antastic-2019-2020.105567/page-7#post-5603983

Does anyone know results from Cannon Texas open yesterday? It was supposed to be the second event in the qualifying series (Chesapeake being the first,Lake Placid being the third).

Coomes and Buckland appear to be coaching at Ice Works now. She just posted a picture on her IG with a bunch of young dancers. Speaking of Logan Bye (continuing from the Green/Parsons thread), is that him on the far right?

I enlarged the photo and that's not him. From far away he does resemble him, though.

The new team of Katarina Wolfkostin/Jeffrey Chen (she debuted on JGP last year & placed J9 at Nationals with Howard Zhao) and Elizabeth Tkachenko/Alexei Kiliakov (2019 Novice champs) are listed on USFS' International Assignments page for JGP #1 in Courchevel, France.

ETA on 7/23 the 5 teams listed as subs for Courchevel (entries/subs link is posted in the JGP thread):

Ella ALES / Daniel TSARIK (J7 at 2019 Nationals)
Oona BROWN / Gage BROWN (J4; debuted on JGP in 2018)
Molly CESANEK / Yehor YEHOROV (J5)
Anna LAVROVA / Maxwell GART (new partnership; he was J10)
Avonley NGUYEN / Vadym KOLESNIK (J2/JW4; debuted on JGP in 2017)

Layla Karnes is on IPS.
ETA: And now she's not?

James Koszuta is off it.

Emily Bratti is listed with Mathieu Couyras on France's JGP sub list.

Lavrova & Gart are on the JGP sub list. One assumes both they and Tkachenko & Kiliakov qualified for the ISP based on their Texas Cannon scores & that they will be added to the ISP list during the next update.

Have I mentioned that I can't wait for the Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships this coming week? :biggrinbo

McNamara & Carpenter have confirmed they will be debuting their programs there.

Does anybody know if there is a way to view Lake Placid Ice Dance on-line?
Canada FS showing their qualifying comp on-line, Russia has it on TV! and USFSA cannot arrange anything for the fans. We cannot even see the list of participants!

Maybe if you are in the top 1% there is a way.
