Depending on where he stood during practice, it's hard to know if he could do anything about it, or even saw it. But i think it is reasonable to ask what did Rafik do in terms of discussing the incident after Eunsoo received her treatment by medics.
what is so special about living/working/studying in a "different culture" at 16 that requires something special from your coach, and how is it relevant when the event takes place in Japan, and everyone has to pretty much speak english or russian to function?
It would be interesting to know what conversations took place between coach and two skaters involved in this incident. Maybe a learning curve for Rafael who never had such experience.
