Part of being a charter member of #TTW is the ability to medal. Brezina has always had the ability. Even more than Verner did. He's just not always had the motivation. No doubt his current state of affairs is due to his fear of being kicked off a very prestigious, exclusive group. Or maybe his determination to do exactly that and win a medal here or there. Plus, he got help from other skaters who didn't want a medal

Brezina is threatened with removal every season. Either because he sucks or because he doesn't suck.
He adjusts his skating accordingly.

I was away on long weekend with the bf so I still havent watched all of GP Finland, only the SPs but already got spoiled with the results so which long programs do you recommend for good and also trainwrecky reaasons?

Watch Kolyada, because boss still won't let him on the train, despite half the ladies' carriage being world medallists, but in terms of never living up to heartbreaking potential, there is currently None More Trainwreck.

Didn't Pogo give an interview a couple months back where she said she would never ever leave Tsareva ?
Pogo and Tsareva love drama too much for this to last long. Mark my words, they'll reunite sooner than later (assuming Pogo keeps skating).
Even if she stops competitive skating I could see them coaching together, with Shelepen! What a fierce trio they would be!

Love Brezina, but come on, his programs and content are still old school for this day and age of skating. If he manages to beat one of Yuzu, Nathan or Shoma at GPF I will be shocked! And it seems likely Kolyada will beat him too provided he 1. Qualifies and 2. Does not mop the ice with his bum. But actually those are 2 pretty big ifs, so I’m on board with #missionpewter

Ohh but I agree Kolyada does not belong on TTW either. Yes, he is heartbreaking with beautiful skating but He spent the whole last season splatting and still winning hardware (including an Abbott olympic medal). Just because Boss has screwed up big time allowing world medallists in and causing this new dark era of confussion where even Zagitova is mentioned for consideration doesn't mean we should take advantage of it.

Who??? Diva Navka is the only post-pregnancy dance role model Bob should look after. That said. I dont miss her and her hunched back one bit this season. All top 3 russian teams have been pretty enjoyable.
