German Fed is not updating any information on their website at the moment. The minimum total scores which must be reached by the second best pair and ice dance couple to make it to WJC still haven't been published although it is mentioned in the nomination criteria that these scores are set until mid October. The "Rahmenterminplan" hasn't been updated since mid June :shuffle: and there are still no scores published which must be reached to get into the national team ("Kadernormen"). I'm wondering when the German Fed will finally publish them on their website as we are already in mid season.
It probably didn't help that the ISU only published the TES minimum scores for the 2019 ISU Championships on October 18: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/tes-minimums-for-2018-19-season.104550/

Dance might end with a lot of :drama: in the end.
K/N lead the head-to-head 2-0 vs M/D this season, though M/D lead with their score of GP USA.
Just imagine K/N will win all head-to-heads and still end 2nd :drama:

German Eurosport suggested sending one team to euros and one to worlds, as they are so close to each other. I doubt that either of both teams will end up Top12 at euros (as set in criteria for worlds), so that seems pretty likely to happen in the end.

Honestly their performances in Finland were so underwhelming. I always preferred K/N over M/D but the lack of energy and speed is just so visible now. I don't get it. Both teams have finally the chance to move up and forward and none of them uses it. "Smaller" Teams like the Finish, Second Italian, British etc... who were usually on the same level as them improved way more over the summer and showed better performances all season long. It is visible in the results with a huge difference in points. Such a shame - it seems like both teams aren't training correctly.
We need Joti back with a girl.

I can't comment on their training methods but I agree their were obviously not as good as the others in every aspect.

All the IG posts with Schott2, I think it's only a matter of time until the announcement.

German ladies withdrawals this season :yikes:
Weinzierl, Bock out of CS AUT, Schott out of GP RUS this weekend.

What's going on?
I hope we find 2 girls in the end being able to skate in Minsk!

Great results by Scheidt and Stoll in their SP`s at CS AUT.
Stoll sits in 6th (67,39pts), Scheidt in 7th (54,97pts)
Good score for both, hope they can hold on in the FS to earn WS points and make the #eurosrace a bit interesting :watch:

I was positively surprised about Stoll, he did very well in the short, finally he nailed the 3A! He got quite good PCS, too. Let's see waht he can do tomorrow in the FS!:watch:

I'm really disapointed again about Heß though, this is his 3rd competition in a row with exactly the same two big mistakes in the SP (fall on the 3A and popped the individual jump to a double), only the combination was a little better, but the rest :yikes:He did so well last season, especially at JWC and now nothing seems to be working for him, such a shame! I do believe he has potential, but he is not showing this at the moment. Hopefully he does better in the FS!

Great 8th place finish for Stoll at CS AUT and world ranking points for him! :respec:
He did a lot better than at Nebelhorn Trophy.
Heß was withdrawn after SP, anyone knows why? Was he injured or ill? Or was it just because he had a bad SP and just gave in because he had no chance to get world ranking points? :shuffle:
Unfortunately Scheidt had a really weak FS with lots of underrotations. I'm really worried about the German ladies, both juniors and seniors :wuzrobbed

To be fair, that was not quite hard to achieve :P

That would be a very  strategy for a skater at his level. He needs every possibility to learn. I stay with my opinion: the senior move was too early. I am not sure by whom it was intended, I just hope german fed learned from throwing their junior girls way too early into the senior scene.
In the end Hess leaves empty-handed, with neither senior or junior ticket.

Unfortunately Scheidt had a really weak FS with lots of underrotations.
Scheidt is a lost case with only 2 triples unfortunately. (3lo does not count, i cannot recall her ever landing it). Nontheless, seems like judges go with her PCS wise, so maybe this season is giving her some motivation.

The latest IG posts of Schott do not look bad. Maybe she just did not have enough runthroughs and stamina after her injury and better to pull out (still :drama: about that). Bock might take the long road, if she has enough patience, Dastich, we will see.
Juniors, good lord. I can only double your quote.

Clean SP by Fentz with 78.28 pts, so far so good. BUT :scream: Fentz needs new pants, asap. This grey low-cut ill-fitting something looks just horrrrrible :yikes:.

Do we have to start some kick-starter funding for a new costume :wall:.

Paul's biography says he is a soldier and a trained retail salesman. So the costume choice may have been off the rack military from Walmart in Berlin.

Paul sits in 5th with his clean skate. Final flight . For tomorrow we only can hope, that he either forgets he has nerves or has left them in Berlin.

Good outing for Fentz coming of injury; I think the program suits him quite well.
How these pants can survive for 3yrs now remains a mistery :shuffle: Hase/Seegert are not dressed bad, so someone in #teamoesterreich intervenes for god's sake.

If he somehow could remain in the Top8 and leave the GP with WS points, this would be great for him :respec:

Harsh caller and judges at CS AUT makes #missioneuros not easier for the german dance teams.

K/N 57,25pts
U/S 56,03pts

Dance will be the :drama: event at nationals, that's for sure.

Oh I think Hase/Seegert have usually been dressed badly.

Nevertheless Romy Österreich seems to do a good job this year. Her students has made a good impression so far.

I think the new scoring system is made for Paul. He does not like to take big risks but his landings are usually clean and flawless. Hope for a good outcome tomorrow.
