If you thought the pairs SP was back, I can only imagine what a disaster the FS will be with less than 24 hours between the two events

Oh yes who was in charge of that schedule? I know pairs skating is the black sheep discipline in USA but this is cruel to them and to us...

usually this is pressman doing, but i am in tsareva mode, so:

1) Skater needs a complete package to potentially be a top skater at Euros/4CC's/Worlds/Olympic level YES
2) Skater needs to have the ability to absolutely rock one day and splat the day after. Even better: rock and splat during one program They usually splat both times, so NO
3) Skater is not afraid of breaking one's heart over and over again NO
4) Skater needs more splat/messy performances than great ones YES

1) Being a student of Volchkova/Rukavicin NO
2) Big boobs/nice ass NO
3) Boobs/belly/nipples showing NO
4) Mule kick NO
5) Being Uzbek/Russian NO
6) last name called Schott NO
7) Bizarre off ice incidents NO
8) Coach Empress might be gone already, so no
9) Costume (-Malfunction) NO (one program alone does not count)
10) Splats Yes
11) Bizarre Choreo NO
12) Hair NO

So these are lots of 'No's', makes a big damn ****ing NO!

The heart breaking part is the key requirement for TTW but is also the most subjetive so it has to be consensual among long time posters. Alexa & Chris only make most people around here sad because Empress coach reputation is starting on a bad note.
