I'm not a fan of Russia's playing style, but they played with heart and passion and did better than anyone thought possible. They should be really proud of that effort.

Well to be honest in footballing terms it is Croatia who are 'mighty' compared to 'tiny' Russia - 20th vs 70 something in the world rankings!!! Russia have stepped well above their ranking and expectations to make the quarter finals. Still heart-breaking to go out on penalties though!!

First up France vs Belgium on Tuesday, followed by England vs Croatia on Wednesday. They should be 2 exciting matches!!

I'm kind of hoping for a France-England final as a replay of the Battle of Agincourt; the English will take to the air, and the French will rely on their ground game .

1st semi tonight- Belgium vs France. Going to be a tight game to call and whoever wins will be the favourite on Sunday. I just hope it isn't decided on penalties but on an amazing goal or 2.
