Disappointed for team Italy up to now but my biggest day is tomorrow! Saving all my tears for H/D's silver :cheer2:
 
Short Dance Recap

Overall this was a much better latin season than in 2012 but there wasnt any memorable program. Bring the Tango!!

ISR - didnt bother to watch. They were crap in Pyeongchang.
AUS - for such a skating loving family i really wish at least one of the Dodds were actually good.
BUL - slooooowww
BLR - lamest attempt at being sexy ever :yikes:
HUN - He likes to steal the show too much.
CZE - not even the yellow costume makes this interesting.:yawn:
SVK - Lucie you got your oly dream. its time to retire.
GBR - they are good but latin does not suit them at all.
FIN - I liked it a lot but they totally rushed through the pattern and it killed them.
ARM - that pink skirt is seriously something. I like them but I dont feel bad when skaters who jump ship (feds) dont make the cut.
KOR - back to reality scores.
TUR - always had a soft spot for them but they havent progressed a bit for the past 2 years. Time to move on.
CHN - :blah::blah:
LTU - I remember Ambrulevicius as a tiny kid who couldnt jump shit at Euros. I wish he had switched to dance earlier.
GER - They sold it!!!:respec:
UKR - @Jeschke you can keep the puppies. I'll take the even hotter Nikitin.:smokin:
USA3- a US girl who doesn't hide her feelings??!! hell yeah
FRA2 - overatted but I like the purple costume.
POL - toilet break
ESP - The rivalry of the 2 spanish teams is going to be intense. Loving it.
CAN3- Really smooth and enjoyable! Now im torn who I want to be Can #3 for the next cycle. Them or the danes.
JPN - After all these years Chris Reed is finally a top 10 ice dancer. :eek:
ITA2 - Very good attack. A bit underscored.
RUS2 - I want them to breakthrough so badly but they need better material.
RUS1 - Where did that dedutcion came from??:huh: I missed him so much in Pyeonghang but they werent that into it.
CAN2 - Awesome choreo.
USA3 - Not my cup of tea at all but it was cute to see her with Zuerlein in the K&C.
ITA1 - Many claim 2014 worlds was their real farewell gift and I agree. They foolishly stayed 4 more years and now can't even get home bonus advantage on a depleted field. :fragile:
CAN1 . Never understimate the power of CAN#1. That said , the last part was really impressive. It was like life has come back to them after the shadow of V&M is gone again.
USA1: I think im the only one who doesnt feel this SD :shuffle:. The FD is way more sultry.
FRA1: Dear judges , blindly overscoring is ok for the Empress but not for this middle of the road not latin mess. Amazing skaters but best SD ever?? Dont think so.:mitchell:

Do-Hard Award: Anna & Luca as a lifetime recognition for always bringin the sexy into skating.
 
Russian ladies age 15+ not looking so amazing right now. We need Pogo to come back, at least when she has a bad skate she brings us the drama :drama:!

On the other hand I think Eteri has overtaken Tsareva on the ice queen scale! She was so cold and distant to Zagitova, it was pretty hard to watch :eek:.

As a positive, Satoko and Wakaba on the podium! And now that Osmond is World Champion I’ll stop nominating her for the team :p

Wow, it's 2am here and I managed to finish the Ladies LP unspoiled: Im still :eek::eek::eek::eek:about the results.

Overall the level was craptastic. Worst worlds since I can remember. The change of placements between SP and LP look like if it was a junior event. Oh and don't get me started on the first 2 flights... they were a nightmare!! and I even thought: Is this torture what @alchemy void likes to sit through during the challenger season? :p

Also, Shin Amano's carrot soup diet regime for the ladies needs to be stopped.:angryfire Theres a difference between strict and nitpicky. If you cant catch the UR on real time i say the benefit of the doubt should go to the skater.

With that said, here's my recap

Toth: Nice choreo. Shes still hurt it shows.
Grm: After years of not watching her do a long program I was underwhelmed.
Leccardi: I have already forgotten her
Paganini: I remember thinking "this is a bad start for the night" Boy was that an understatement.:slinkaway
Konstantinova: If the hate was already high now the russian skating fans are going to eat her alive.:yikes:
Brezinova: She looked great. The skating was novice at best.
Craine: One of the few enjoyable performances. Until the carrots showed up at least.
Lindfors: I fell asleep
Kim: :wuzrobbed Eunsoo, Ye-Lim, Dabin, Ha-Nul, So-Youn, Na-Hyun, So-Hyun all fighting for only 1 spot. :wuzrobbed
Lecavelier: I must admit I had missed slutty Sandy a lot. It wasnt as great but it has almost like comic relief among son many meltdowns.

Nagasu: Carrot soup aside I gotta give credit to Mirai. She was doing the oscar parties circuit just a few weeks ago and did a solid job here.

Daleman: This was no redemption.
Tennell: I thought the dark USA ages were 2008-2015 but it seems the real darkness is taking over.

Kostner: the farewell party of ITA's golden generation is becoming a sad tale.
Miyahara: never a fan but happy for her.

Osmond: I still think she's a lousy swan but she fought and when everybody else imploded so hard.... congrats I guess.

Do-Hard Award: Higuchi, a true bond girl, smoking hot from head to toes.

I'm not sure how much more drama you'd want if you watched Alina's face. A 15 year old kid had one bad skate out of 8 this season and dealt with all the OGM hype. I'd say winning every comp she's been in for the last two years is pretty amazing.
 
You know, for all the fact he's a bona fide member, the boy has had a pretty impressive senior debut. This quad will belong to him.
