Hey, I'm old. He wrote for the Carpenters and Neil Diamond and other people back when music was good. I wonder if he's gotten a lifetime achievement award yet.
I completely agree with you. At about that point it was really clear where everything was heading and how it would end, they could have stopped at episode 10 or 11 and the show wouldn't have suffered a bit for it. It is a shame because like I said before, I thought the pacing up until that point was so good. Tennant was an amazing villain. I still recommend it, you could practically just skip to episode 13 and watch how it ends if you want. I don't think you would miss much.
That said I am also enjoying Supergirl with it's much more brighter and less gloomier style. There are more than enough deep dark, depressing, and moody tv shows around.
