I like it. Its very skateable.I never thought I would say this but I like Sia's version of "California Dreaming" better than the Mama's and the Papa's version which was out exactly 50 years ago....

If the Neville Brothers are Southern Funk, I would probably like the other 4 tracks. The only Kansas songs I know are Dust in the Wind and Carry On Wayward Son.Currently have been listening to new music....which for me means Somewhere to Elsewhere, a Kansas album released in 2000.
It's a strange album, all over the place stylistically. Love 6 of the tracks, and don't care at all for the other 4 which are not progressive at all, but more southern funk. It's quite jarring, but at least the title of the album makes sense!
What do you recommend? Anything I can YouTube? And it hurts my heart that Dust and Carry on are the only songs you know.![]()
Their Don Kirshner appearances which were pre Carry On and Dust are poor quality but fabulous. Look for "The Pinnacle" and "Icarus (Borne on Wings of Steel)".What do you recommend? Anything I can YouTube?

It's funny to see starstruck policemen. For those who don't know him, he is a Belgian singer and songwriter. He is so creative and a mega-star in Europe.

First off, yes, I'm old................when I saw this post, my first thought was which one is the group and which one is the song.
Reminds me of reading a post on one of the old rec.sport.skating message boards back in the day from someone who though a skater should skate to some song by Hootie and the Blowfish. I asked them if that was a real group!! I didn't listen to popular music back then either.
