In four years -- if they all stay healthy and stay together -- Carreira/Ponomarenko, Green/Parsons, Wolfkostin/Chen, and the Browns will all be fighting to get to the Olympics, and I will be going bonkers because I like them all so much!

I really like the vibes given off by Bella/Dima. Undecided about the revamped C/P but I am open to pleasant surprises.

Thank God we need some new blood no offense to C/B but Evan has already been to 3 Olympics and H/D have been around for about a decade too.

If Avonlea and Smirnov are a success ,they’d have citizenship issues which is only reason I wouldn’t include them in that list. On paper it’s a great pairing.

I'd guess that the USFS/their team wants to keep them separate from Hubbell & Donohue and Gilles & Poirier as much as possible before their Grand Prix matchups.
I agree, though other possible Senior B events will force them to travel to Europe. It won't be Lombardia so it will either be Nebelhorn or Finlandia (my money is on Finlandia, probably together with P/C assuming they won't do ACI).

I wonder if C/B are pacing themselves.

The Shibs also stopped doing Senior Bs after their 2015-2016 season. The season prior to that, they did two (one was Ice Challenge which took place shortly after their Cup of China appearance and shortly before the GPF) and in their 2015-16 "comeback" season, they did Nepela (where their fans got scared after their third place showing there before their revival happened - starting with Skate Canada). After that, they just didn't bother with senior Bs anymore going with another strategy instead.
