I go back to my Playboy Bunny costume (without the ears and butt puff) comment. I probably wouldn't have said anything at all about this costume a while back. It would have washed by me like the fake criticism of the SB halftime show.

But right now I'm so icked out by the Epstein reports, pics of various parties at Miralago, and now this playboy costume look-alike (or close enough) and I feel like I'm on overload. It doesn't help that so many young girls also wear thongs at our river beaches here - they will be here again in a few months. Maybe I'm just getting old.

I think both LFB’s and Piper’s RD costumes read Playboy bunny and are unflattering because neither woman has a bunny body, they’re lean and small-breasted. Madison’s manages to be sexy in a flattering way. Loena’s costumes are Vegas showgirl, but she is one of the few skaters with the curves to carry them off.

I am curious what it is that makes LFB, or I guess Piper as well, costumes and butt cheeks more offensive then Emilia ZIngas and her booty shorts or the thong bordering on g-string that Juulia's bottoms turn into when she is skating ( they can spray those in place and have the bottoms cut differently right? ).

The only thing about her costume that is weird to me is that after its debut LF-B said that she was uncomfortable being so exposed as she usually wears a longer skirt so she was planning to change it, but then she never did. Maybe she got used to it, but it seems that LF-B herself thought it was too much, at least initially. As for exposure, we’ve definitely seen as much if not more skin from other ice dancers (Navka, anyone?) and athletes from other sports. Plus it’s hard for me to read her as being sexualized when she’s skating with an overtly gay man in opera length gloves. There is no sexual tension between them at all (not that there should be) and therefore I don’t get sexualized vibes from her costume.

That impression seems to be in line with the „I have no thoughts“ personality she projects off ice though. The cut of the dress I find to be good, but the baby pink is not vogue.

Emilia's booty shorts specifically cover her entire butt. Piper's costume also covers her entire butt. I didn't see Juulia's.

It's also silly to compare the cut of Laurence's costume to Madonna's. Madonna literally wore PANTS under this outfit. No one would have an issue if Laurence wore black pants under it.
