I'm not good at remembering dance rhythms but I do remember that was a weird year. Isn't that Piper and Paul's Sargent Pepper Lonely Heart March year? I don't remember what other dance rhythm they had

For 2015/2016 the additional rhythm options in addition to the pattern steps of the Ravensburger Waltz were March, Foxtrot, and Polka. Which was indeed the genesis of Gilles/Poirier’s Maple Leaf March.

It was the last time we saw the Golden Waltz in 2010-2011 that they had Tango as one of the additional rhythm options (the “wangos” that season).

Foxtrot and Tango are often categorized with Waltz in the different types of ballroom dances; a safe bet accordingly for the 2026-2027 requirements.

It was the only name in the skating orbit I could think of that sorta rhymes with Alfie. I believe Dave Molina is the replacement for Shawn Rettstadt
