I think objectively speaking both times Virtue/Moir won Olympic gold Tessa wore skin-colored tights in their free dance, so skin-colored tights win.

Where's tim gunn when you need him?! I just don't understand how those black mesh streetwalker tights aren't a fashion don't. The "help! somebody stole my right sleeve!" Dress is bad enough, but nude tights would at least balance out the bare right arm/shoulder. The black legs just make it look more like her whole dress is slipping down. Ice dance has enough costume mishaps as it it, why build a whole look that mimics a mishap.

Black fishnet for sure - not worn very often in skating so I always think its a different/fun/sexy look when a skater wears them. If I had the legs for them, I’d wear them myself!

Fishnets are overrated. I had to wear them for a tap recital one year, and I had to be so careful with them all the time. The stupid things tear if you even look at them the wrong way!

I love the black - wish skaters would wear more tights that aren't skin-colored. But skin-colored tights are probably most cost-effective, given how many of them skaters go through. You can probably buy them in econo-pacs.
