William totally stole the show in his outfit - Kate looked glorious but all eyes were definitely on William :love:

I like both their outfits, but not the way the colors work when they stand next to each other. I think Natasha didn't coordinate with William's ? on the colors.

If I was a bettor and bets were being taken, I'm going with reddish/ auburn. Definitely there looks to be some red in there. But babies and young children change quite a bit as they grow. Little Archie's brows in the most recent pics in South Africa definitely look gingerish. :p

For those who might be interested, Omid Scobie ditched the OnHeir podcast with Emily Andrews (who was a drag and the recipient of KP leaks for The Sun). Omid has now started a new podcast, The HeirPod, apparently sponsored by ABC, the American network Omid is contracted with for royal reporting on this side of the pond. Omid is one of the better and more trusted, professional royal reporters, who never makes his commentary about himself. I'm not particularly enamored of Omid's guest co-host on the first episode of the new podcast. But there's some interesting info in the airing about the South Africa tour, and where Meghan stayed with Archie while Harry was traveling... The second episode I haven't listened to yet (a mix of royal news):

An ITV documentary filmed by Tom Bradby on M&H's South Africa tour is scheduled to air in Britain on October 20. It should sometime later be available on Youtube. Bradby (a fomer royal journalist and now an ITV anchor) is a close friend of Harry's (so it's not true that Harry hates everyone in the media). I believe that I earlier linked an interview Bradby gave during ITV's coverage of the royal wedding, in which he expressed his take on the relationship between Harry & Meghan. I'm looking forward to seeing the upcoming documentary.

Well, we heard during the W&K engagement interview what Kate's speaking voice sounded like for the first time. She was a very softspoken mumbler, with the very upperclass British accent. Yes, her public speaking skills have gotten much better, particularly over the last year or so. Kate has admitted to being somewhat shy. But she's always been very graceful, elegant and compassionate. It's nice to see her continuing to grow into her own woman. She put up with a heck of a lot from William during their courtship, which was also residually evident during the engagement interview.

ITA with your take regarding the fact that marrying into the British royal family involves a hellapuhlooza more than any average person can ever realize unless personally experienced in real time living color, which is hardly likely to happen for any of us on the outside looking in. ;) That said, quite clearly Meghan is not a free agent. She is a member of the most high profile, ancient family in the world. She cannot simply decide to pick up the phone and try to reconcile with her father. Meghan and Harry made every effort to prepare Markle Sr, but for some reason he failed to understand and comply with the patient advice, guidance, cautions, and genuine offerings to include him in his younger daughter's new life. I have no sympathy for Markle Sr.

The Queen meant what she said when she expressed to the British public that she'd learned lessons from Diana's life and death. Diana did not fully understand (even as a British aristocrat) what to expect when she married into royalty. Subsequent to Diana, all prospective royal brides (and surely grooms as well) have been fully vetted, guided, instructed and forewarned, thus forearmed.

She can pick up and fly to New York for a baby shower and again to watch the US Open. She could pick up and fly to see her father. She could also have her father flown to her. Now there is absolutely no requirement that she do that. It may be the relationship is too broken to be mended. Only Meghan and Mr. Markle know for sure what has happened. But, to suggest that there is nothing she can do is not honest. She can do many things. She chooses not to and seems quite resolute about that choice.

I suspect Mr. Markle would disagree with this description of Harry and Meghan’s treatment of him. Again, only those directly involved know the truth.

You'd be bound to fail miserably though as a crystal ball soothsayer, or a PR adviser. :lol: Right-o, Meghan can just fly right on down to Mey-ico and drop in on dear ol' Daddy with a couple of royal protection officers in tow to have a conciliatory chitchat with Mr. Ego Malarkey. ? Then hightail it back to Windsor in time to see that her brainless pappy has spilled his guts to TMZ, The Daily Mail and vengeful 'ghosted' venom-filled Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain. Markle Sr would be preening in full-on whine about the visit, right down to what color shoes and socks the RPOs were wearing. :duh: The paps might even be lying-in-wait to stake-out the visit due to KP leaks passed on by error-prone, gossip-monger, Emily Andrews. :blah:

I was hoping to post a link to What Kate Wore because they always have such informative posts not only about the fashion, but also about the actual events. Unfortunately the moderator over there has had to have emergency surgery! Full recovery is expected quickly.
 
Archie has those adorable chubby kissable cheeks, cute baby for sure but I can't
tell his hair color from the photo but if Mum and Dad say it is Ginger then
there you go must be Ginger.

Meghan looks very stylish in her favorite color Black or is it Navy, not sure . The coat and shoes are
a nice accent to her dress.

Oh FGS :rolleyes: I suspect you are one of the very few who thinks that. It is very clear it is a deep respect for the culture and country and I'm pretty sure dialogue has gone back and forth between KP and the Pakistan authorities to determine nothing disrespectful or condescending is occurring. I would check out social media if I were you to see just how pleased and delighted many Pakistani's are with the tour and how the Cambridge's are handling the fine diplomatic line.
