This is kind of a bit late to start this thread since some shows were over in January and February, including impressive shows such as Kassou-ya by Daisuke, but there will still be many more ice shows planned in Japan to mention here!

Note 1: if you find spelling errors (especially about the names), feel free to correct them.
Note 2: the organizers continue to add more information, including invited skaters. Please check the latest information at each official website.

Yuzuru Hanyu: notte stellata 2024
https://nottestellata.com/
3/8-3/10 - Miyagi
Yuzuru Hanyu, Mao Daichi (former top-level dancer for Takarazuka Revue), Javier Fernandez, Jason Brown, Shae-Lynn Bourne-Turok, Satoko Miyahara, Akiko Suzuki, Keiji Tanaka, Takahito Mura, Rika Hongo, Violetta Afanasieva

Stars on Ice (SOI) Japan Tour 2024
3/30-4/1 - Osaka
4/5-4/7 – Yokohama, Kanagawa

More skaters to be announced.

Skaters who belong to Kinoshita Academy, including Mone Chiba, Mao Shimada, Hana Yoshida, Ayumi Shibayama, Ikura Kushida, Koshiro Shimada, Shunsuke Nakamura, Sena Takahashi, Riku Miura & Ryuichi Kihara, Yuna Nagaoka & Sumitada Moriguchi, Sae Shimizu & Lucas Tsuyoshi Honda, Utana Yoshida & Masaya Morita.

6/21-6/23 - Shizuoka
Skaters – Yuzuru Hanyu, Stephane Lambiel, Javier Fernandez, Keiji Tanaka, Sota Yamamoto, Satoko Miyahara, Yuna Aoki, Gabriella Papadakis & Guillaume Cizeron
More skaters to be announced.

Hyoen 2024
6/8-6/11 - Yokohama, Kanagawa
Daisuke Takahashi, Shizuka Arakawa, Kana Muramoto, Koshiro Shimada, and more actors/actresses since this show takes a theatrical format.
Musicians: Yuzu.

Everlasting 33 - Mao Asada Ice show (NEW!)
6/2-6/16 - Tachikawa, Tokyo
Mao Asada
More skaters to be announced, but it seems that skaters who skated for last year's show, Beyond, seem to be joining again. Haruka Imai already announced that she will join.
This is a completely different format of ice show and it probably deserves its own thread once it starts. Mao will use a regular theater, not an ice rink, with a full set of orchestra (see the image on the official website).

Friends on Ice 2024
8/30-9/1 - Yokohama, Kanagawa
Shizuka Arakawa, Daisuke Takahashi, Shoma Uno, Kana Muramoto, Takeshi Honda, Miki Ando, Akiko Suzuki, Shae-Lynn Bourne-Turok, Jeremy Abbott, Stephane Lambiel, Jason Brown, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Weaver & Andrew Poje

There will also probably be Dreams on Ice (usually at the end of June or early July), and The Ice (usually between late July and early August), which have not been annouced yet.

ETA: I added the links of SNS accounts for each show since they sometimes make announcements quicker on SNS than their official websites.

Yuzuru Hanyu announced he added shows for Re_Pray on 4/7 and 4/9 while I can still edit my original post (but not the title).

ETA: Oh I can also edit the thread title if it is within 24hrs! Did not know it.

ETA 2: FaOI just announced the skaters via X (formerly Twitter), not on the website.

I added the links for SNS accounts for each show since they sometimes make announcements quicker on SNS than their official websites.

Yes, they're already in Japan and at practices today.

Loena posted an IG story about practicing in borrowed skates because her luggage was lost by the airline.

Wow. More power to her...that has to be incredibly hard.

I never can believe that so many skaters have to go straight from Worlds to show rehearsals in Japan. Even though shows are far less intense for them, it's still travel and work instead of a genuine break right after the biggest event of the year. The grit and stamina of athletes is simply a foreign concept to me.

Osaka shows will be held on 3/30-3/31, not 3/30-4/1. My mistake.
Kazuki Tomono has been added.

Japan's SOI has the World's gold medalists from all 4 disciplines.

Didn't they have all 4 last year too? Uno, Sakamoto, Miura/Kihara and Chock/Bates.

They were, clearly, betting the odds when they booked their non-Japanese skaters on having all 4 - Malinin, Hendrickx Stellato-Dudek/Deschamps and Gilles/Poirier were all strong contenders for gold after their seasons to date. Levito was a choice that panned out well though since they can say they have all the World gold AND silver medalists this year.

In their CBC tv interview post Free Dance, Paul said he and Piper were next going to enjoy spending time with the family and friends who came to see them at Worlds. Pretty short visit.

Miura/Kihara out because of an injury Miura had in the final 6-minute warmup for the pairs Free Skate. I figure that’s why they didn’t skate in the Gala.

“Due to Miura's injury, he will be stepping down from Stars on Ice.
‘I am truly sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the performance and to all those involved.
This is because Miura fell and was injured during the six-minute practice session for the free skating at the World Championships last week.’”

The way they sell the tickets, especially for Funabashi shows, is quit unique this time:

- No single women skaters? (they will probably be added later) ETA: The organizer made a comment that they only invited men skaters for single skaters category this year.

- the 1st row seat for Funabashi shows costs 50,000 yen (approx $330 now). The cheapest ticket possible to get is 4,500 yen (approx. $30).

- By paying 370,000 yen (approx. $2,440 for today's exchange rate) for all 4 Funabashi shows, you get 1st row seats for 3 shows (on 3 different sides), 1 seat for 4th show in VIP lounge, a pass for the photo exhibition and early entry, catering menu that is the same as the cast, souvenirs, ID pass, meet & greet, parking pass.

- (This is very initeresting) By paying 130,000 yen (approx. $860), you get a seat where you can use SLR camera: pass for early entry, the lecture by the well-known professional photographer for figure skating photos (on how to take figure skating photos), rental service for the equipment (SLR camera), ID pass, use of the cloud to upload the photos, a SD memory card (64GB) - you need to come 2.5 hrs early to the venue for this option.

- By paying 130,000 yen (approx. $860), you get a seat in VIP room for one day (2 shows), a pass for the photo exhibition and early entry, catering menu that is the same as the cast, souvenirs, ID pass, meet & greet.

And you still have to win the lottery to get the tickets (though I am not sure how many entries there will be for $2,440 seats).

I kind of sense what kind of audience they are targeting at. 😂

Is Navigator the same as Choreographer?

Interesting casting choices... No Yuma - Kao is listed twice? No Adam or Jason but we get Kevin, Deniss, A Selevko and Nikolaj... And Shaidorov and Egadze are invited but not Lukas Britschgi?

Also, I find it a bit concerning that Miura/Kihara weren't included. I know she's recovering from an injury but this is still a few months away. On the other hand - what a great opportunity for Chan/Howe! Another chance for his Japanese relatives to see him perform in person!

Since there are so many shows in Japan, they have to distinguish themselves from others.
The Ice has been known to invite more male skaters lately, and women are presumably their targeted audience (just my guess, no value judgement here).
