When I first moved to the USA I got hooked on Jeopardy for a while and watched it on and off for many years before moving back to the UK. I really can't see anyone else hosting the show as he so made it his own.

My father & uncle both died of this bastardly form of cancer within a year of each other. That was 48 years ago.

It makes me sad/mad that there still is such a high mortality rate with this type of cancer.

May the cure be forthcoming sooner than later.

One of the highlights of my brother's elementary school years was making it far enough in a national geography competition to have Alex Trebek personally congratulate him. He was more excited about that than whatever prize he won.

Such sad news. I watched Jeopardy with my mom every day from 1985 through 1987 when she passed away from Ovarian Cancer. It became a tradition after that, and I watched whenever possible.

RIP, Alex. You will be missed so much. ??

I have been staying with my sister for the past three weeks as she recovers from surgery and watching Jeopardy together. every night has become much more than a routine, it's almost a ritual for us.

RIP, Alex. You brought a lot of fun moments to many, especially to those going through difficult times.
