Really, part deux

Hi all... today is Monday, July 23... Day 608. Lee is continuing to make steady progress, her contractures are lessening as she works to increase flexibility and strength. She is talking better and taking more interest in people and things around her.

Which makes my day!

Friday, the doc from adaptive physio came by to re-evaluate her and step up her treatment a bit. She is still easily tired, but that's expected, and she is still in pretty good spirits and determined to recover.

Day by day. Thanks for hanging in with us through the ups and downs.

This totally warms my heart. Love to you both.

Hi team! Today is day 633, and Lee is doing pretty good. I just got back; I've been away since Sunday, working in Montreal and Toronto and Niagra; when I walked in today, Lee looked up, smiled, and clearly said "You're back! I missed you!"

What a great first thing to see.

She says to say "Hiya" to all of you, and to thank you all for thinking about her, and for all all the cards, letters, and flowers.

It's really smokey here, from all the forest fires in BC and California... I hope none of you have been caught up in that.

Love,
Lee and Gerry

This is wonderful Gerry.

Great timing too. The new season is starting. The first junior grand prix is starting on the 22nd and is livestreamed for free on ISU channel. Debut of Stephen Gogolev...he is finally old enough...and other new juniors.

Great news @Gerry. Wonderful news. is she able to sit up? I am so happy she is getting better. Any chance she might get to come home, or you can take her out for a date?

She has been sitting up for a long time .. it's laying down that is the issue. No. I cant get her home yet, but we are hoping to be more mobile soon... if we could get out and just wheel around, it would be great.

Oh gosh, I hope you're in a place with good air filtration (I've been in Seattle the last couple of days, and wow, did those BC fires do a number on air quality here). She doesn't need lung issues on top of everything else! Glad to hear she's continuing the climb back to wellness.
