Really, part deux

Great update, Gerry! Lee's progress is fabulous and it's wonderful that you're finally able to take time away and work.

For my husband, it was about 7 months from when he started walking with help in residential rehab to when he could walk on his own without frequent falls. It was a hard period, especially when he came home and kept falling -- I felt I couldn't turn my back on him for a single second, and of course that was impossible, so... -- but it's shorter than what you've already lived through. It really sounds like she's turned the corner!

Have not had a chance to look at this thread for a bit. I am assuming all is going well. Please let her know that Florida, excepting the Keys, survived and those of us from the State wish her continued recovery to be swift.

NJL (as we wish the same for ourselves...;)...)
