Her issue is the SP. She hasn't the minimum for Worlds in that segmentWell Lara Just got a very high score, now I think she has her minimum’s?
Are they going to make sure to investigate this group extensively for doping when they're out of Russia? Because given how Grassl did at Nationals, it's hard to not let my mind wander over there.GRASSL in Khrustalny![]()

Now or back in the summer? His mother/coach, Olga Romanova, was a student of Mishin's and I found a photo of Memola holding a dog at Mishin's rink in July 2022.Nikolaj Memola is there too, apparently?
Looks like the photo has been deletedGRASSL in Khrustalny![]()

Is he out of his tree??
Oh, please. This kid relocated to Boston last summer and was back to Italy within 6 months because he was homesick for his family. This is all a bunch of chatter from desperate Russians who are feeling the effects of being shut out of the international skating conversation and want to believe they're still relevant. The silver medalist of the 2022 European Figure Skating Championships, Italian Daniel Grassl, is eager to start cooperation on a permanent basis with Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze, the parties should conclude an agreement in the near future, a source familiar with the situation told.

The journalist admits that if an agreement is reached, Grassl will not be based in Moscow in order to avoid problems with logistics. However, this is still just a guess.
So Grassl is not in Moscow? This is all a bunch of chatter
snort no, it's not about logistics, no matter how the Russian media wants to spin it. Grassl might want to work a bit with Tutberidze, but he's not going to relocate to Moscow or even get to Sambo-70 all that frequently simply because he would rather be in Italy, close to his family and friends. From the article

Even if he is in Moscow, that doesn't mean he's going to relocate there as is being suggested by the Russian media. So Grassl is not in Moscow?
Personally, I take issue with him working with Tutberidze at all. I don't care if he goes to Moscow or not.Grassl might want to work a bit with Tutberidze, but he's not going to relocate to Moscow or even get to Sambo-70 all that frequently simply because he would rather be in Italy, close to his family and friends.
Oh, 100%. I'm right there with you on that, but this Russian media report that Grassl wants to work with her on a permanent basis is, IMO, of questionable veracity.Personally, I take issue with him working with Tutberidze at all. I don't care if he goes to Moscow or not.
Using this emoji more and more for skating.
Sigh. Italian Ice Dance is a total mess behind Guignard/Fabbri. And I understand that Grassl wants to medal in 2026, but this coaching change just looks desperate.
