This program screams Elyce, but it doesn't deliver the magic when she's so erratic and inconsistent. She needs to be clean to deliver the Wow and unfortunately that's been a challenge for her.

Yes, this can be applied to American women as easily as it can be applied to Korean and Japanese women. Elyce is a pretty but generic skater.

Toe loop probably short, flip for sure short. Program is interesting enough I guess and she for sure has her own style, but she’s better with the more avant garde stuff I think.

Beautiful, and dramatic program, and things started well but that flip was not close.

Thought Chaeyeon was back but spoke too soon ugh. Love Shae-Lynn choreography! Not sure about the dress, brown doesn't usually translate so well, better avoided. Hopefully she can regain her consistency.

The faux neckline they've created on isabau's dress looks SO weird from the back. Someone should hold up a second mirror so she can see how strange it looks.

I don't think the combo looked all that good. She really sat into the flip landing and had to reset for the 3T. It comes out smooth and all but it's just ugly going in and mid-jump.

I warmed up to her SP last year a whole lot, and I'm hoping I do so this year too. I'll put it that way. Still glorious basics and charming quality all the same.
