This program is so empty. There's almost no expression of the music at all aside from Max flipping Deanna.

Powerful music, and the skating matched it very well. The back flip is clearly going to be a crowd pleaser.

If you're going to skate to Carmina Burana, at least work with the music and time your jumps to the musical accents. They could have been skating to anything.

I really liked both Maria PAVLOVA / Alexei SVIATCHENKO and Deanna STELLATO-DUDEK / Maxime DESCHAMPS and they are quite at the same level

Plushenko used it in 2002 to start his short. It's been used more in the past than just this year, also.

Oh right, I should have remembered Plushenko as I am old. Heck, Deanna Stellato probably remembers.

Yeah, agree I like it! They can amp up the first half of the program even more but it's infinitely better than Beyonce.

SBS 3Ts miles apart, more than anyone else in the senior field today really. Regardless of timing, that cannot be a +2 to +3 element. Foolish.

Don't mind that they're keeping the program. It's my favorite thing they've done by FAR.

MiuKih - 3tw - decent; SBS 3t - good for once; lift - excellent; throw 3f - fine; SBS spins - decent; step sequence - really good; BIDS - very strong element to end on.

Well, this isn't going to be close for the lead.

That was just class across the board, and again wonderful use of powerful music matched by their skating.

LOVE this program from Riku & Ryuichi! They're hitting the musical accents really well, appear to be flying across the ice, and had fantastic synchronicity in the steps. Fabulous!

Definitely their best program by far. I agree, sbs jumps were so far apart, +1 max GOE.

Overall, I think their skating has smoothed out alot. The throw was sloppy throughout, but aside from that I wasn't cringing as much from their mismatched lines and sloppy (lack of) extension.
