We are live but Chris is speaking very quietly in his recap of what has happened and what is upcoming.

The question du jour. Can ShiNag put up a score? And if they don’t, will USFS stop giving them extra love?

My Peacock keeps trying to default to go to a new video after a few seconds, like it thinks this pairs SP is concluding. Just click cancel to get it to stop.

I hope is not an omen of what lies ahead, maybe a hell of a competition that the cock wants to forward in time

Alrighty then... we're off with a team that probably shouldn't have gotten this assignment - I don't care that hosts get 3 spots, that's nearly half the field for any pairs competition and the pairs teams getting host spots really should be required to meet the Total Minimum Score requirement before they're given one of these precious spots.

And nothing Wessenberg/Strekalin are doing here is going to convince me otherwise.

A US pairs girl who can get through the SBS who doesn't represent the US. Makes perfect sense.

His stature has me wondering about the outfit, but whatever. They are better than I suspected they'd be.
No, they're not. You're just blinded by a US pairs girl who can land a SBS jump, lol. ;)

 it wasn't that bad.

Megan Wessenberg/Denys Strekalin 🇫🇷
Coach: S. Berton, R. Brubaker, B. Massot
Music: Le Dernier Jour du Disco

Double Twist 3 - poor quality catch, but good height
3T
Throw 3S - hands down
Back Inside Death Spiral 2
Change Foot Combo Spin 4
Axel Lasso Lift 4
Step Sequence 3 (2 after review)

For such a new team they looked pretty good together, and have some elements that they are making good progress on.

50.41 = 1st Place

I thought they were passable, but then I can count the pairs that excite me on one hand.
