GPdF 2025 PBP - Rhythm Dance: “Rock Around The Cock”

:lol:

This is such a poor program choice. MIDA struggles so much with packaging their teams. Bratti & Sommerville are nowhere near a team that can pull off Vogue. They are so good, but this program constantly makes me think "no".
Agreed. I feel like half their Green/Parsons programs have been misses, though that team was strong enough to somehow make them work. They’ve done okay with Wolfkostin/Tsarevski, but the team that gets consistently well-packaged is Koncius/Shchepetov. Which you wouldn’t think would be the team that gets their best material.

Romain's belt placement is really giving him dad bod vibes - which I'm sure isn't the case at all, but it is what it is.

Nice rotational lift, nice entry to the twizzles. Everything should be really fabulous and fun but there continues to be something missing for me with them. The international judges have made it very clear already this year that they should get the 3rd spot to the Olympics, so there's that.

This might be the most conventional program this team has ever done. Marie-Jade is smoking in the one piece.

I really enjoyed that. They're a team where I don't really sit there and agonize over the steps. I know they'll be some level of average, but Les Gacs really know how to maximize their talent, and then focus on entertaining us.

The twizzle entrance and exit on the "ding" is such a moment too.

Well, now... They won't get the PCS to match FBCiz's score, I'm sure, but TES is less than .5 behind. Let's see how close this score winds up being to the leaders.

Very cool midline shape and they are flowing much more effortlessly than before. Considering this is their second RD and they've had very minimal time to go through it, I think they did exceptionally well. I would get rid of the arm movements in the first twizzle pass.

Middle section risks not being oh so dance enough again but out of all the programs I've seen so far, this one stands out the most in the best way. Vibes all the way through and nuances throughout each of the elements.

And her outfit SCREAMS 90s to me.

Davis & Smolkin are much improved. The transitions are so much smoother.

They still lack any real style, but there's something so endearing about their inauthentic interpretation to this. :lol:

I think Gleb is actually too cool for Pretty Fly - he's going to have bring out his inner dweeb to make this really work.

77.80 = 2nd Place
