The ITV commentators are clearly bored out of their minds. Earlier they were discussing how the stadium was sinking as it had been built on a swamp . Anything other than commentating on the match - which I do admit is pretty lethargic and boring!!

I've been very disappointed in Nigeria - I really thought they would have more oomph!! Croatia haven't been brilliant either but have done enough to get the 3 points. But even with those 3 points I can still see Argentina and Iceland pushing for the next round.

I am laughing at Americans complaining about how Saudis got into world cup and their team didn't. If you can't beat Trinidad you don't deserve to be at the World cup. They also ask for reform since Saudis qualified from Middle East qualifier. For one, Saudis qualified from Asia ahead of Fake Asian nation of Australia, I am still mad at opportunism of Australia. Australia will move back to Oceania so they can screw rest of the Oceania teams when a full spot becomes available for 2030 WC.

Agreed it was a bad penalty attempt - but I just feel if a goalie saves a penalty they should be acknowledged.

And I have do agree Ronaldo had way more passion last night - though I have never been a huge fan of his - far to arrogant for my liking

Messi has always been a bit crap with penalties, no? Plus I think the pressure is crushing him.

Just home from singing at the Race for Life in my home town - I belong to Rock Choir which doesn't audition thank goodness - so missed Serbia-Costa Rica. Hopefully the next 2 games will be better than the Croatia- Nigeria snooze fest I watched in hope it would improve!!

I see Germany winning but Mexico will hopefully take the game to the Germans. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Switzerland take Brazil to a close game this evening.

Well Germany need to push for a goal - but they also need to tighten up at the back as they are very susceptible to the counter attack. It will be an interesting 45+ minutes!!
