The Daily Show did a report on the President and First Lady being in Cuba. Perhaps they have visited both places recently?

Why, yes they did. First Cuba for two days and then on to Argentina (where they tangoed).

On ANTM, Nyle struck me as hyper observant. If he wasn't up first, he'd watch the others as well as the photographer for cues. On one shoot, they had to move to music. He watched the others to get the rhythm, basically choreographing himself before he hit the set. Also, they never had to tell him the same thing twice. He seems extremely smart and has total control of his body. As long as he stays engaged, he should be good.

I was watching an episode of S4 of The O.C. today, and Artem was in it, dirty dancing with Mischa's TV mom. This was after Mischa left the show, though.

Very good job by Paige, especially considering the last minute change in partner. That required a lot of coordination with between partners and it looked like they'd been practicing together all week.

I have no clue what Len was going on about. Nyle's and Kim's performances were better than a 6 if they give Geraldo 5s. And they're back with the "can't do lifts" excuse that I cannot stand.

Mischa was 50x better this week, but she still looks massively miserable.

And full of excuses.

Mischa was much better tonight, but still nowhere near the others. Plus she by far has the worst attitude of anyone there.

Paige and Alan were amazing. I was so impressed with him having only 2 hours to learn and rehearse that routine. You could not tell that he wasn't the partner she learned it with. Great job for his first time in the spotlight.

And Wanya just blows me away. He is so light on his feet, amazing rhythm, great movement... to me he was a bit better than Paige tonight, but not quite 9 worthy. If they had half points I'd have given him 8.5s to her 8s.

I think Nyle's inability to hear the music at all is going to catch up with him. I do see a disconnect between his movement and the music even in last week's dance where he looked very good. There's only so much Petra can do.

I thought Mark could've been more enthusiastic after his partner and Alan finished their dance. I hope he's out for next week also; Not a fan.

I only saw the final dance and the elimination. Misha looked very concerned during the elimination and not like she wants to go home. I wonder if she's getting a bad edit or maybe she just isn't likable?

I wish they would not eliminate until week 3. It just doesn't seem fair. Even the contestants I don't like have put in time and effort. Geraldo still would have gone first.

I hate most memorable year because most of the dances are not appropriate for the idea. I spend most of the evening shaking my head and rolling my eyes at the fake crying from Carrie Ann.

Doug Flutie's parents' story was so beautiful and sad... Not sure what Karina was thinking with that dress, it looked like she was wearing pasties - it took me completely away from the sentiment. He does look like he's improving, kudos to him.

Kind of weird to have a couple dance to the national anthem. And most of the audience was sitting down!

Glad the judges finally found their 9 paddles (well, Bruno at least), but I think they should have been unleashed for Paige (holy crap!) and Jodie (she was so elegant and looked like the pro in the dance) instead of Nyle.
