Either way, they (journalists and tv crew) are going there to report the event, not the flight ?

NOT according to the Aeroflot article...one (1) flight each way - to Sweden on 20 March (this Saturday) & back to Russia on 29 March. I also just saw this on Channel One’s Novosti spot, which I get on my tv.

That doesn't seem wise when you think about what happened to the US team in 1961.
